Blue veins may or may not diminish. They are a function of the thinness of your skin. At 7 months you are about 90 percent healed. At 9 to 12 months you will be closer to being fully dropped and fluffed.Dr. Ted Eisenberg, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon and Author
Thank you for your question. The veins you are describing may slowly go away with time, but they may still be more visible than they were before surgery.
Hello,The visibility of your veins may diminish slightly over time but they will not be less visible than before surgery. Thin or pale skin can make them more apparent. All the best
Thank you for your question. The most visible changes appear during the first 4-6 months following breast augmentation. Scars can take a full year to mature. The veins you are describing where likely there prior to your breast augmentation but may be more visible now. Best of luck.
Hello and thank you for the question. In general, by 3 months after breast augmentation, most patients should see their final results. In terms of activities, you should be able to do most of the activities including lifting by 8 weeks. Best,Pej Aflaki, M.D.Johns Hopkins-trained plastic surgeon
The complete healing time after a breast augmentation can vary, but most individuals see significant improvement within the first few weeks. It may take several months for swelling to fully subside and for the implants to settle into their final position. As for blue veins, changes in blood flow and visibility of veins can occur due to surgery and may improve over time, but it’s advisable to consult with your surgeon for recommendations about your specific situation.
I would say that by 7 months you are usually healed. Your incisions on the other hand can take a year or longer to soften and mature.
Complete healing takes up to one year. Since your breasts are fuller, your veins may be more prominent.
In general most visible healing is done in 3-6 months, however the final result may take 1-2 years but the changes are subtle after 6 months. The veins that you are mentioning were probably there before surgery but were not as visible. However, the surgery itself changes the local blood supply so the more superficial veins are carrying a bigger load, for now. In time, the flow of return to the heart should improve and hopefully this will too. It may take a year or two. I hope this explanation helps.
You should be fully healedbetween six months and twelve months after your operation in terms ofmaturation of scar tissue and resolution of inflammation. If your blue veins are prominent, it may bethat you have thin skin. This incombination with the prominence of the implants may make them easier to see.You should wait one year after your operation to decide whether this is fullyresolved or not.
When taking plaquenil and contemplating breast augmentation surgery, alway best to have your surgeon and rheumatoid doctor coordinate you care.Dr. Ted Eisenberg, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon and Author
