Thanks for your inquiry and an excellent question. Age is much less of a factor for risks of surgery than is health. I have treated 70 plus year old patients who had much better health and less surgical risk than a 30 year old in poor health. Age will often dictate a different type of pre-operative evaluation including an EKG, current mammogram, and in my practice basic labs. Please discuss with a surgeon, good luck.
Thanks for your question. This is a great example of age not being more than just a number. A majority of my mommy makeover patients are in their forties and fifties. Your surgical goals and general health are much more important factors in determining whether or not you can have a mommy makeover than your age.
