I was wondering if the activated ptt range is 1 pt higher, will it be ok? the range is 25.1-36.5, and my number is 37.8 , is this ok or not?
Answer: PTT You will want to begin by speaking with your primary physician as to why your PTT is elevated and addressing it. Once the underlying reason is identified and it is well controlled you can visit with a board certified plastic surgeon near you for a consultation to determine if you are a candidate for a tummy tuck.

Answer: Tummy Tuck Thank you for your questions. With any significant medical history, it is a requirement to have medical clearance from the medical doctor who manages your health care. During your potential surgery, your surgeon and doctor will work together to develop the best plan for you. I recommend you schedule a consultation with a board certified Plastic Surgeon. In our office we offer 3D imaging to give our patients an accurate idea of what their final result will look like. Good luck!

Answer: Lab tests before surgery Preoperative lab tests should be discussed with the surgeon. If you’ve selected a provider then I suggest you ask him or her. If not then I suggest having in person consultations with local board-certified plastic surgeons at which time you can review your medical history and lab results. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
