Will my implants project and round more over time or this is it? (Photos)

Dear Qcmiss,I understand your concern and it is quite normal to be concerned about the outcome following a breast augmentation surgery. However, you are still in the very early stages of the healing process at 2 days  post op.Your will need to be patient at this moment and follow what your surgeon has instructed you to do post operatively.At the early stage of the healing process, the tissues around the implants are still swollen. Once the swelling subsides and the implants drop to their final position, you will be able to see the final result of your breast augmentation surgery.Daniel Barrett, MD

Dear O,    Thanks for posting your breasts augmentation pictures, though, seeing the before pictures would have been helpful.    You are very early in the healing process and your symptoms , as well as the appearance of the breasts will improve with time, especially if you will perform implants displacement massage on a daily basis, starting on the 3rd day after surgery, as all my breasts augmentation patients are instructed to do.   Your breasts will round more and will project more with time , however, if the sub mammary  crease will not stretch downward further , in order to get  optimal projection and perkiness you might benefit from mini lift (donut, Benelli).    Always, consult with experienced board certified plastic surgeons who operate in accredited surgery center for your safety. Most importantly, check the before and after pictures in the photo gallery, to make sure that they  are numerous, consistent and attractive with nice cleavage, perky, symmetrical and natural looking.                         Best of luck,                                          Dr Widder

Qcmiss. I appreciate your concerns but way too early to worry. Your body needs time to heal and adapt to the implants. The skin and muscle over the implants must stretch a bit to allow the implants to settle into their final position. While your appearance will improve fairly quickly, don't expect to see your final result for at least 6 months after surgery. Good Luck!

At this point in your recovery, it is much too soon to be worried about the outcome.  It takes time for the implants to settle into position and the skin and muscle to stretch out to accommodate the new implant.  It may be 6 months or more before the shape has reached its final look.  Be patient.

It's too early to worry at this point. There is still a lot of swelling this early. The implants will 'drop and fluff' over the next 6-8 weeks and give you a much more natural appearance. If you are really concerned then book a follow up with your surgeon so they can reassure you. You are in the very early stages of healing from your breast augmentation procedure. Over the next few months your breast will change. Give it time for your implants to settle and you should be very pleased.
