Historically, insurance did not ever cover much for implant treatments. Now, many patients can receive decent insurance reimbursements for 1-2 implants in a given year. Many times the patient will have implants placed one year and the final restorations placed the following calendar year to take advantage of 2 years worth of benefits. Unfortunately, yearly maximums rarely cover the overall costs of full arch or all-on-four implant procedures.
Full arch implant treatments have a very high success rate overall, but there are different outcomes depending on how the case is planned out. When a patient presents to our office wanting full arch implant treatment, I do not stop with 4 implants. I place as many implants as the bone will allow. The reason for this is more implants more foundation. This basic building principle applies to building houses and also dental implants because if there are 8 implants and 1 fails, it is not a big catastrophic deal. If there are 4 implants and 1 fails, the whole structure fails.
I have hundreds of patients that have large bridges or full arch (all-on-four) type restorations and the vast majority of patients absolutely love them! True, zirconia is heavier that other restorative materials but it is also much much stronger for the long term. As a general rule, zirconia can be a better long term restorative material due to the durability and natural cosmetic results.
There are no real delays needed after the initial recovery from breast augmentation surgery. The overall process for veneers is not very taxing and the recovery is minimal.
Unfortunately, orthodontics are your only real answer to correct the your spacing issues. It is possible that a cosmetic dentist (AACD) could correct your problems with veneers, but it may limit their ability to create a beautiful smile without moving the teeth first to create a more ideal alignment.
