? I went to Furkan Bey for Botox and I’m really happy with the results. He has a very gentle touch and pays great attention to detail. The result was natural yet effective—just the way I wanted. He patiently answered all my questions beforehand, which made me feel very comfortable. I would definitely recommend him to everyone with confidence!
With Gratitude to Dr. Furkan Karabekmez I had a temporal lift, rhinoplasty, and buccal fat removal surgery with Dr. Furkan Karabekmez. At first, I hesitated to choose him because during our initial consultation, he gave me very detailed information—even answering all my questions before I had the chance to ask. It actually showed how experienced and well-prepared he was. After the operation, I was always able to stay in touch with his team whenever I needed. Since I came from abroad and had limited time, they arranged more frequent check-ups for me, which made me feel very reassured and comfortable. I’m incredibly happy with the results. My self-confidence has grown so much. I’m truly thankful to Dr. Furkan and his team for giving me this wonderful transformation with his magical hands.
Hi,Thank you for your detailed question. Based on what you’ve described, your ptosis doesn’t seem to be severe, so it's not absolutely necessary to combine ptosis correction with upper blepharoplasty unless you are aiming for both functional and aesthetic improvement at once. That said, you can always choose to have ptosis correction later, after your blepharoplasty, if you feel it's needed. It’s also important to understand that achieving perfect symmetry is not possible — since we all naturally have some asymmetry, and surgery can improve but not completely eliminate that. If your main concern is achieving a more defined crease and youthful upper lid contour without compromising a natural look, upper blepharoplasty alone might be a good starting point. However, this should be carefully evaluated in person, ideally with photos and a physical exam, especially considering your brow dynamics and forehead compensation. Best wishes,Dr. Furkan
Hi,Yes, I’ve treated several patients with a combination of rhinoplasty and lip lift, as well as rhinoplasty combined with lower eyelid blepharoplasty and/or fat repositioning. In cases combining a lip lift and rhinoplasty, the incision approach is adjusted — the lip lift incision can often be used to access the nasal structures. Doing all three procedures in one session is certainly possible and can be done safely when performed by an experienced, board-certified plastic surgeon. I recommend sending your photos so I can better assess your needs and provide personalized feedback. Safety and quality should always come first, and combining these surgeries can be efficient without compromising either. Best wishes,Dr. Furkan
Dear Markijo, Based on the photo you provided, it appears that you have a small bump on your nasal septum. If you consult a plastic surgeon, the typical approach would be to excise the lesion and close the mucosal defect with absorbable sutures. This procedure is usually performed under local anesthesia and is generally straightforward. If you’ve noticed that the bump has been growing recently, it’s advisable to send the excised tissue for histopathological examination. However, if it has remained unchanged for years, histopathological analysis is usually not necessary. Best regards,Dr. Furkan Karabekmez
Thank you for your question. To make a proper assessment, it would be much more helpful to have profile (side-view) photos, as they allow us to evaluate the nasal bridge, tip projection, and overall facial harmony more accurately. That way, we can better determine whether you would benefit from rhinoplasty and, if so, what kind of changes might be appropriate. Based on the front view alone, your nose appears quite balanced, and you may not need any major intervention. However, if you’re looking for subtle refinement, a tip plasty could be considered to slightly reduce or define the nasal tip, depending on your goals. It’s also very important to know whether you have any breathing difficulties, a history of trauma, previous surgeries, or allergies, as these factors significantly influence surgical planning and recommendations. Best regards,Prof. Dr. Furkan Karabekmez
Thank you for your question. It would be easier to provide a more accurate opinion if you could share a photo. However, based on your description, if there’s no swelling, warmth, fluctuation, discharge from the incision, or significant pain, then it's unlikely that you have an active implant infection. What you’re experiencing may be a skin-related issue, such as folliculitis, especially since the implant site itself seems calm. As for your second question: yes, chin implant removal and sliding genioplasty can generally be performed in the same surgical session. However, it's very important that there is no sign of infection at the time of surgery. If there’s any suspicion of infection, your surgeon may recommend staging the procedures, with implant removal done first, followed by genioplasty once the area has healed completely. Also keep in mind that when the implant is removed, you may lose some of the volume or projection it provided. Sliding genioplasty can help restore this, but the final aesthetic may be slightly different from the augmented shape the implant gave. Best regards,Prof. Dr. Furkan Karabekmez
