I’ve always hated my profile because of a small hump on the bridge of my nose. I finally pulled the trigger and had Dr. Scott do a liquid rhinoplasty and I literally cannot believe how big of a difference it made! It’s such a cute nose, I’m almost in disbelief because of how easy and seamless the entire process was. Dr. Scott is truly talented, I highly recommend!
I can't speak highly enough of my experience with Dr. Brian Scott. I came in wanting a natural lip filler, mostly to correct an asymmetry on my left side, but didn't want that 'had work done' look. Dr. Scott absolutely delivered and I'm so so happy with the results. He was attentive, receptive, and made sure our treatment was tailored specifically to my goals. I'd highly recommend him to ANYONE looking for lip filler!
My nose has bothered me for as long as I can remember but I have been very hesitant to have a rhinoplasty because I wanted to remain "natural" looking and it is my face. From the moment I met Dr. Scott he has made the process easy! I went in for my consultation and booked my rhinoplasty that day. Best decision ever; now I am over a month post op and couldn't love my nose more! He is a true artist and extremely talented at what he does! I couldn't recommend him more to anyone thinking about any facial plastic surgery, he is the BEST!
I've been bothered by the size difference between my upper/lower lips, and by the lack of volume in my cheeks (I have a long/slender face). I went to Dr. Scott for filler to correct these issues and he completely exceeded my expectations. Not only was he so kind in dealing with my worries regarding pain tolerance, but he walked me through the procedure step by step and made me really feel like I was in charge of the appointment and the outcome. He defined my natural features so well, making sure I wasn't "overdone" and I've been getting so many compliments from friends and family! Dr. Scott is now the only person I trust with my face, it's worth it to go to the expert!
I've been going to Dr. Scott for Botox for the last two years and my results are only getting better. He takes the time to listen to my aesthetic goals, making slight adjustments to my dosing/treatment areas each time to achieve the exact look I'm going for! Dr. Scott truly creates an individualized plan for me, rather than using the same approach on every person like some other doctors do. I couldn't recommend him enough! Expertise, a keen eye for detail, and a charming personality is a difficult combination to find in a provider these days and Dr. Scott has all of that and more.
Cartilage grafting (rib or ear) is sometimes needed for primary rhinoplasty if the goal is to build up the nose (often the case with asian rhinoplasty), if they have prior nasal trauma, septoplasty, or if they have very severe nasal obstruction with a lot of nostril collapse and weak cartilages. Overall, the majority of my primary rhinoplasties do not require additional cartilage grafting but your surgeon should be able to determine if this will be needed in your case by examining you.
Epinephrine is injected alongside lidocaine in nearly every facial procedure, including rhinoplasty. Injecting epinephrine can slightly raise blood pressure, which is usually inconsequential but can also be easily treated by the anesthesia provider during the surgery. I would not worry about epinephrine injections for your rhinoplasty, they are very safe. I am not aware of any instance of vision complications from epinephrine injections during rhinoplasty.
Nasal bones require approximately 6 weeks to heal. During this period I advise my patients to be careful with putting any pressure on their nasal bones (such as wearing glasses).
Fat transfer addresses hollowness and darkness under the eyes while a blepharoplasty improves loose or "crepey" eyelid skin and pseudoherniated fat (under eye bags). Which of these you need depends on what problem you have. Most commonly I perform both a blepharoplasty with fat transfer (or fat repositioning), but some patients only have hollowness and for them I will perform under eye fat transfer as a standalone procedure.
I have not had to remove any of my own fat grafts but I have removed fat grafts placed by other surgeons. Removing grafted fat can be challenging. However, typically the grafted fat is surrounded by scar tissue unlike normal fat. Ultimately the surgeon must use their judgement about how much fat to remove to correct the overfilled problem while not creating a new problem (hollowness). I always filter my fat down to fine particles to prevent lumpiness and problems down the road.
