Can I use paraffin gauze on the area, because she did a 3 (180) I dont know what it means but its really bloody and much worst than the first time. thanks
First, typically the longer it takes you to heal from a resurfacing procedure the better the result will be. What you are describing is completely normal. I would not use anything on your face your doctor has not recommended. At this point your skin is very sensitive and has to be treated like baby skin.
I had Pearl Laser Treatment on my neck 7 days ago. I have not had any visible sloughing, and the redness is going away. Does this mean the treatment will not be effective?
The Pearl is an excellent treatment for the neck. Do not worry if the skin does not slough, it doesn't always do that. Also, there are changes going on underneath your skin that you cannot see. These take several months. Be patient. The Pearl is a procedure that almost everyone is very happy with.
Has anyone had a treatment with the Pearl laser? If so, how effective was it? Would you recommend it?
The Pearl comes in two types. There is a fractional pearl and a non-fractional pearl. This can be confusing because it is not always specified which one people are referring to. The non-fractional pearl is a 5-7 day downtime procedure designed to help with fine lines, large pores, and sun damage. It is a lighter, quicker to heal, treatment. I use this one for the woman in 30s to 40s, with no need for the deeper fractional treatment. I also think it works great on the neck, chest & hands.
