I know Botox is reconstituted with saline before injecting, and I’ve read that micro Botox used for reducing oil in the face is an even more diluted Botox. How diluted is it compared to regular Botox?
Answer: Dilution of Botox/Xeomin/Dysport--Results Resolve in 3-4 months No, the dilution is the same. Keep in mind, Botox results resolve in 3-4 months. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: It is not more diluted, In my practice. The correct answer is the botox powder is reconstituted just as it is with traditional Botox injections. In my practice, we then add ten units of reconstituted Botox to a solution containing diluted Hyaluronic Acid base with the addition of PRP, lightning agents, or a combination of these, customized to the specific needs of your skin. Benefits include tightening of the skin, smoothing of the skin, volumization, hydration, and much more – all with little to no downtime. So Botox is not more diluted; it is combined with other substances based on the individual patient.

Answer: Micro Botox Diluting Method Micro Botox is what is referred to when Botox is injected very superficially in thinner skin areas, generally the skin under the eye. Micro Botox injections are reconstituted the same as regular Botox, it is just a different injection technique. What you are referring to I believe is a treatment called AquaGold which is a completely different treatment where Botox along with some other ingredients like Hyaluronic Acid are penetrated into the skin using a shallow stamping device. This helps with oily skin, large pores, and the effects of aging. So to answer your question the botox for this treatment is not reconstituted differently, rather it is combined with other beneficial ingredients and stamped superficially into the whole face.

Answer: No, the dilution is the same as regular injections. Thank you for your question. No, the dilution is the same as regular injections. The only difference is that with micro-Botox you will receive several superficial injections of small amounts of Botox. I recommend having a consultation with an expert injector to determine the best treatment plan for you. Best of Luck!

Answer: "micro Botox" The micro Botox, or meso-Botox technique, was developed by Bernard Hertzog for specific reasons. The dilution depends on the reason of injections and has nothing to do with "recommended" dilution. These dilutions allow to use as little as 1/4 to 1/8 of a unit per injection. The most difficult is to find an injector who's interest in Botox goes beyond the acceptable standards. Good luck!
