It's important to note that there are a multitude of reasons people develop the dark circles under eyes from aging, thinning skin, allergies, weight loss , sun exposure, genetics and more. Any Physician must take all of these into consideration on evaluation. Individual factors and combinations of these causes can vary, and the treatment or management of dark circles depends on identifying and addressing the underlying cause. From the pictures I can see the volume loss. If that is the primary cause I like to address this area with a Hybrid Bio-Filler and PRF. Bio-Fillers are a gel product made exclusively from your own blood. You blood is drawn into a test-tube and centrifuged without any anti-clotting agents. This allows the fibrin clot to form which once extracted is called Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF). PRF is much more dense in growth factors and and stem cells. This in turn is processed with heat into a gel similar in consistency to Juvederm, Restylane or other man made filler. Depending on the amount of volume loss and structural need I may choose another filler like a Juvederm product to combine with to give more lift. The Bio-Filler by itself can last 6 months, but in this time it stimulates vascular growth and your own natural collagen to grow. The Juvederm products all last over a year. I find this combo gives great long lasting results that look very natural.
Unfortunately, as of now, no home devices use the technologies EmSculpt Neo uses which are proven to be efficacious for reducing fat and building muscle.
I hate that you are going through this. Sudden hair loss is an awful thing to endure. I am not sure why your shedding is continuing, but it could be several things. One thing that comes to mind is the PRP you're being injected with up to the task? Not all PRP is equal. The processing mechanism and method of producing PRP from whole blood varies greatly—some process yield & more than 50,000 progenitor cells while others only around 7,000. So, obviously, more cells will likely lead to a better result. Also, the actual benefit of PRP for hair loss is not decided. Although PRP injections are safe there are only a few studies that show benefit and also a few studies that did not show a benefit. PRP holds promise as a potential treatment for hair loss, its effectiveness is still being studied, and more evidence is needed to establish its true benefits and optimal usage.
We typically tell patients you will start to see results from Emsculpt Neo in 8-10 weeks. This treatment is very well studied and across the board shows on average a 25% increase in muscle and a 30% decrease in fat. It sounds like you were in great shape to start with. I find that interesting that you are not experiencing any soreness after the procedure. In our experience, people that start the treatment already in pretty good shape seem to have more soreness after the treatment. I believe this is due to the muscle being more exposed (less fat between applicator and muscle) to the electromagnetic and RF energy. I would be curious as to the settings your treatments were performed at.
The correct answer is the botox powder is reconstituted just as it is with traditional Botox injections. In my practice, we then add ten units of reconstituted Botox to a solution containing diluted Hyaluronic Acid base with the addition of PRP, lightning agents, or a combination of these, customized to the specific needs of your skin. Benefits include tightening of the skin, smoothing of the skin, volumization, hydration, and much more – all with little to no downtime. So Botox is not more diluted; it is combined with other substances based on the individual patient.
