Had a rhinoplasty many years ago & had escalating breathing issues. Ct scan shows 6mm deviation touching the left inferior turbinate. I’ve already seen an ent & have a follow up with a surgeon. it is my assumption that I also have nasal valve collapse. I know insurance covers septoplasty but it’s the nostrils I can’t breath out when they collapse. How would this be fixed,and will my nose change in appearance? Am I right in assuming my nostrils won’t look concaved anymore after it’s fixed...

It depends on what will be done and the surgeon's facility. Many of us have accredited operating rooms in our offices. If that is the situation I do feel it would be appropriate.

It may be possible to remove that cartilage graft with a local procedure, avoiding another big rhinoplasty surgery. Then, once the swelling resolves, if a dent is noticed, not surgical rhinoplasty with either Juvederm or Silicone can be done to fill in defects. It is usually pretty successful.
