Deviated septum 6mm. How should this be treated? (photos)

Asked By:disneymommy in Dallas, Texas

Had a rhinoplasty many years ago & had escalating breathing issues. Ct scan shows 6mm deviation touching the left inferior turbinate. I’ve already seen an ent & have a follow up with a surgeon. it is my assumption that I also have nasal valve collapse. I know insurance covers septoplasty but it’s the nostrils I can’t breath out when they collapse. How would this be fixed, and will my nose change in appearance? Am I right in assuming my nostrils won’t look concaved anymore after it’s fixed...
