10/10 Highly recommend! My original nose had hump, but it wasn't terrible (the original nose didn't preclude me from working as a model in my twenties; although I was told that I'd need a nose job if I wanted to model in NYC). Bc my nose looked great from the front, I was worried that rhinoplasty might do more harm than good. But my fears were unfounded. I'm about 5 months out now. The tip still has swelling, and that bothers me; but that's expected & happens with any surgeon. Plus, I didn't comply with my post op taping the way I was supposed to, so my nose is swelling longer than other patients' noses. Post op course was painless and easy. I only missed one workday. Bc of COVID, we were all masking anyway. After cast came off after about 7 days, I looked good enough to go out in public without scaring people. I also never had any pain. I do NOT have a high pain tolerance. He did prescribe norco in case I needed it, but I never needed it. The only unpleasantness was stuffy nose up for the first few days. COSMETIC RESULT IS FANTASTIC! My postop nose looks better than I could have hoped!! My new nose changes my entire face, in a better way. People pull me aside and say things like, "Wow you just look great recently" or "I never noticed how pretty you are". A few people have said "did you do something to your nose? It looks great". Literally 3 people have asked me who did my nose, and they all are trying to get in with Dr. Bader. I now have the perfect nose, yet it fits my face perfectly and looks natural. I've never felt so beautiful, in my entire life. Am considering getting back into modeling for the extra cash flow. New nose also makes me appear younger, by about 5-10 yrs. (Am in my mid 40s. I have been "carded" every time I buy alcohol since the nose job. In fact, a bartender in Colorado thought my ID was fake! He called security and everything). This rhinoplasty also saved me money in the long run: I don't have to wear makeup anymore. I don't have to contour my nose anymore (except for the tip swelling, which is normal at this stage). Also saves me time on getting ready. I can just roll out of bed and look instagram ready. I cannot recommend Dr. Bader highly enough. Of note, I found out about Dr. Bader bc I talked to some OR nurses and anesthesiologists in the area. They had all worked with him & said he does the best rhinoplasty in Dallas. He's like a hidden gem. I'm lucky that I had friends in the know. There are other great rhinoplasty surgeons in Dallas who also do great work. But it's not as good as Dr. Bader. They also cost more and have longer waits.
I'd lost quite a bit of weight so my neck was sagging like a melted candle & I'd developed jowls. Dr Bader and his staff were wonderful. I look at least 15 years younger & my neck is as smooth as it was when I was in my 20's. Dr Bader and his stall answered all my questions before, during and after my procedure, they responded quickly every time I had a question or had a concern. I never had to wait more than a few minutes with each visit & they always treated me like I was their only patient. As an incentive for posting a review, this reviewer received an entry into RealSelf’s monthly $500 gift card giveaway. Updated on 14 Jan 2022: Today is 60 days post op and I am feeling fantastic. I still have a little ways to go before all the swelling is gone and the incisions have smoothed out but I went in for a check up yesterday & received my before and after photos. I still cannot believe the difference.
Dr Bader came highly recommended to me for a septo-rhinoplasty by a friend who had the same surgery and a beautiful result. I always wanted to get a nose job, but changing your face can be quite intimidating and I never had the courage to go through with it. After years of very frequent sinus infections and the inability to breathe out of my right nostril, I finally got motivated to book a consultation. My deviated septum was the culprit and was exacerbating my breathing issues and sinus infections. It got to the point that I couldn't sleep without a Breathe Right strip...and even then, I would gasp for air in the middle of the night. I also wanted to remove the bump on my nose and deproject it a bit to give it a more feminine look. When my friend told me about Dr Bader, I booked an appointment right away. I was looking for a surgeon that excelled in both the aesthetic and functionality of the nose, which can be difficult to find. I visited a couple other surgeons, but they were very non-nonchalant about the details of what they would do and made it seem like I was a routine case. One didn't even have any photos of rhinoplasty patients that he had done! This is where Dr Bader's double Board Certification in both my areas of concern separated him from the rest. It is clear in speaking with Dr Bader that he is an expert when it comes to facial and nasal anatomy and what needed to be changed to make my nose as functional as possible. He was very conservative in his approach, which I really appreciated. Dr Bader was able to show me, using computer imaging, the comp of my final result during my consult appointment, which added an extra level of comfort, and is almost completely necessary these days pre-rhinoplasty, in my opinion. I could tell that he wanted to make sure that I was happy with the look that we came up with together. During my consultation, Dr Bader took time to listen to areas of concern, and also made a few suggestions that would further improve my look, which I am so glad that he did! He really understands facial harmony and has an artistic flair for an ideal, natural, and "best version of yourself" look. During my consult I also identified some double chin fat that bothered me and Dr Bader suggested doing some chin lipo at the same time, which I am also very happy with. Casey, his aesthetic director, was also very patient, helpful, and fun to work with! I never felt pressured and she was responsive and answered a few more questions I had after my consult as well. I booked my surgery with a few days later. Like anyone, I was nervous before my surgery. I had done a lot of research online prior to my surgery, which didn't help my nerves. Dr Bader was more than happy to meet with me again to answer new questions that had come up and ease my mind about any fears that I had. He listened and took as much time as I needed to answer (no matter how silly) my questions and provide reassurance and told me what to expect from a recovery perspective. I have to also compliment Dr Gubert, Dr Bader's board-certified anesthesiologist, who is also fantastic. He took really great care of me as well and made me very comfortable, despite my nerves. When I woke up from surgery, I felt groggy, but not awful. Dr Bader and Dr Gubert came by to check on me as well. Before my surgery I was fearful of the pain and the splints that would be in my nose for a week, but little did I know I was worried over nothing. Even with the splints in my nose, I was breathing better than I had in my entire life! The pain (more like discomfort) was very manageable and I had no bruising. My cast came off on its own, due to the swelling subsiding, 5 days after surgery on a Sunday, which had me a little panicked that it would mess up his work. I reached out to Dr Bader and he got right back to me and assured me that everything was fine and it was just there for swelling. I am now about 7 weeks post-op, and while there is still swelling, Dr Bader accomplished everything we discussed, and my nose is even better than I had pictured it would be. My chin is also healing very nicely, and has improved my overall look, without looking obvious. If you are considering any procedures for your face, go see Dr Bader! Rhinoplasty is a surgery of millimeters, so choosing the right surgeon is crucial. He is confident in his approach, but is also very approachable and reassuring. I felt as though he really cared about accomplishing all of my goals, but also exceeded my expectations. I can breathe out of both nostrils now AND I am more confident at every angle with my improved nose. My only regret is not doing this sooner! Thank you, Dr Bader and staff for a wonderful surgery experience start to finish!
I have a very small forehead and eyelids tend to droop, I always explain this to Drs and usually have to return for touch ups. Dr. Bader got it correct on my first visit, and I have a wonderful little lift in my eyes...He is excellent!!! Also took the time to explain and answer questions regarding other procedures I am in interested in as well. Very nice offices and staff.
I have had a phenomenal experience EVERY time I have visited Dr. Bader at Bader Facial Plastics. He is thorough, assesses my needs differently each time to be sure I am happy with my previous procedure. He personally does my procedures….even Botox! His assistants are the sweetest & kindest - cannot say enough about him and his office staff. I would 100% recommend them!
Today I did botox and tear trough filler by Dr. Bader and I am SO SO SO happy with my results already! I have a SERIOUS needle phobia and they made the process entirely painless. His office staff are all kind, helpful and professional. You don't feel rushed in and out, and they take the time to make sure you understand the entire process from start to finish, as well as what results to expect. My main concern was the under eye area because I hated my bags and looking tired all the time. It's incredible what a difference this made - not so dramatic that strangers will think I'm loaded up with filler, but dramatic to ME in that I look instantly rejuvenated. I'm definitely obsessed!!! HIGHLY recommend!! (I only wish I'd have taken a before and after photo!)
I love love love the filler Dr Bader did in the lining of my upper lip!! It gives it the most subtle, perfect amount of POUT! No pain and all smiles! Same day appointment and fantastic friendly staff! My new BFFs!!!!
I have always been self conscious about how thin my lips were. Wanted to have fuller lips that when I smiled we're still visible.Had gotten done at a spa in north park mall in Dallas and was left with large deposit lips and uneven lips that were not fixed by spa.Looking for someone to add more volume while making lips even from previous juvaderm done elsewhere.Very professional and made sure I was happy with my lips I had done. lol and I can be a pain cause I'm a bit picky mixed with needle fear.. haha not a good combo.. But he was very polite and talked me through the process and always let me know what he was doing, realistic results of what to expect. I previously had my lips done at a spa that's well known, & while they did okay, I was left with uneven lips after the healing process and when brought to their attention was told was normal. Dr. Bader did many small deposits of juvaderm to avoid the huge blobs of fillers in certain spots look & fixed the unevenness in my bottom lip that the spa messed up and finally gave my top lip the amazing shape I had wanted from the first lip filler experience I had. Updated on 31 Oct 2016: Wanted to add this was the price when I received 2 syringes of juvaderm.????
Love my eyes now!!!! Outstanding work!!!! He is very caring and have excellent bed side manners! Very professional! His staff is great as well. I felt comfortable and very well taken care of. Thanks Dr. Bader!
Dr. Bader performed an upper and lower blepharoplasty procedure on me. I can't believe how much of a difference it made! Friends think I look 10 years younger. Dr. Bader was outstanding and patiently answered my questions both before and after the procedure. His staff was excellent in guiding me through the process, following up to check on me and quickly returning calls to answer any post op questions. Top notch crew. Recovery was actually a little faster than I expected and I could see the positive impact after just a few days. I would not hesitate to choose Dr. Bader for any future procedure.
A feminine nose has subtle curves while a masculine nose typically has straight lines and sharper angles. The bridge should be straight with no bump at all. The most important feature of a feminine nose is the position of the tip relative to the bridge. If you draw a line parallel to the bridge then the tip should be a few millimeters above this line. This gives the profile a subtle curvature which is the most powerful feminine characteristic of a nose. The size of the tip should be small but not pinched. The angle the nose makes with the lower lip should be greater than 90 degrees.
The "indents" are a normal anatomic area of the nose referred to as the soft tissue triangle. The size and shape of this area is determined by the size, shape and orientation of the lower lateral cartilages. The lower lateral cartilages can be controlled with a combination of sutures, grafts and partial excision in rhinoplasty. Filler would not improve this much. You are better off having revision surgery to correct the domal angle, caudal excess and hanging columella.
Yes, these two procedures are often performed together. Be sure to consult with board-certified surgeons experienced with facial contouring and the FaceTite technology in particular. Best of luck.
Yes, a natural result is possible with a closed approach. You have what is known as a tension nose. This is when there is a convexity from the bridge all the way down to the upper lip. Preservation rhinoplasty techniques can be used to push the convexity down to create a more feminine bridge and lift the tip. You might also consider a chin implant to bring better balance to your facial features. Consult with expert rhinoplasty surgeons experienced with the preservation rhinoplasty techniques to learn more about what is possible for your nose. Best of luck on your rhinoplasty journey.
Possibly. The columella is composed of skin, cartilage and some connective tissue important for structural support of the nasal tip. The surgeon will need to be sure that manipulating these structures will not negatively impact the tip shape or support.
