I received oxygen therapy twice a day for five days, along with daily facials, which helped with swelling and healing. I had a very good experience with Dr.Lee and his clinic! I had a mixed surgery of DPFL, neck lift, hand fat graft. I expected less work, but after discussion with Dr.Lee understood I need but more to address issues I did not like, like hollowness under eyes. Even though it is only day 15 after surgery and I am writing this review, I am sure that at final setting of my face I will be more satisfied with results.

It is my 2nd time to visit The VIP Clinic in Jeju for a touch up after a Deeplane Facelift Surgery in July / August 2024. This time, I had a fat graft touched up on some of the area of the face, and Stemcell together with the Rejuran/Filoga & HA boosters plus 2 sesions of Pico laser. The treatment was very professional. The doctors and medical assistants were also very helpful and attentive. the recovery period was not long and not taxing on the body. Additionally, the after-care was very thoughtful and useful towards recovery. Moreover, aside from aesthetic benefits, the procedure also aids in reducing dizziness caused by the weakening of the eyelids muscle as we age. As someone who has passed the age of 70, the procedure was really helpful as it helps with lightening the burden on the eyelids and transferring some of the muscle-workload to the forehead region.
3rd Revision Rhinoplasty After two prior rhinoplasties failed from two famous Beverly Hills doctors, I started looking for my 3rd revision after 2 years from my second one. I was exhausted from contacting plastic surgeons again. It was a challenge for me to look into a sea of plastic surgery centers in Korea as well. I did contact a few places in Gangnam district and talked to a middle agent and was not happy with the unclear charges and, they chose the surgeon for you from 10 different ones on their list. Most of them were very young and had less than ten years’ experience. I was drained and hopeless until I did a search on google and YouTube then VIP videos popped up. I started looking at their website and it was so clear about one doctor with extensive experience and a pioneer in the rib cartridge rhinoplasty. The reason I chose Dr Lee was experience, gave clear explanations of what the plan for my revision was going to be, accommodated living and post op care packages, transportation to and from airports, and touring the city. My nose was completely reconstructed by Dr. Lee. He pretty much re-built my nose from the base. Two of my prior surgeons just put a bridge on my nose without building any structure to support the bridge which resulted in a crooked nose and warped septum. Dr. Lee showed me many small pieces of the ribs he carved out from my ribs to use for rebuilding my entire nose. The detail and effort to make sure that my nose will be well supported and beautiful was unmatched compared to the other doctors I had seen in the past. His matriculate skill, hard work and care for his patients needs to be recognized and be known to the people who desperately need to fix what other doctors botched. Dr. Lee is the doctor that you need for any revision for rhinoplasty. I also would like to thank Dr Kim, aesthetician, Wonny, Jess and the chefs who treated me so well throughout the entire recovery process. It’s definitely worth to fly from the US for the VIP services that they provided. The quality of the services are what you pay for. Sadly, the truth is you will not experience this kind of superior service in the US.

In Seoul, plastic surgeons are abundant, but I believe it is preferable to have only one doctor who will be performing all your procedures instead of hopping from one practitioner to another as each doctor may only specialize in a specific area of the face or body. Certainly, one will find less expensive doctors; however, your face is an important investment and you do get what you pay for: realistic and sensible consultation, quality work, natural results, all while maintaining your own face as Dr. Lee is not aggressive in transforming patients’ face into unrecognizable caricature or following short-lived trends that screams “I’ve had work done!” As with any cosmetic procedures, it’s crucial to understand one’s anatomical limitation to manage expectation. My experience with Dr. Lee and his team has tremendous value; therefore, I have returned to become their loyal client because I still look like myself, but just a much younger and better version.
When you consult with your surgeon on your facelift surgery, pre-operative guideline will be given. Also, pre-surgery body examination will be done to check up your body.Usually, any medications or supplements that interferes with your blood pressure will be limited.However, there may be some medications that you will have to continue to take depending on your health condition.Please do discuss with your doctor after the body exam for this matter. Also, you will have to remove nail polish, remove contacts / dentures / accessories. There will be fasting before the surgery as well.
There are many ways for anti-aging treatments and surgeries, and the effectiveness and duration of the result varies.If you are looking for a temporary solution, you may seek for a non-surgical options such as lifting lasers, injections, and thread lift. If you want a more long lasting result with a definite lift up result, then a surgical option is more recommended. The most up-to-date technique in facelift is extended deep plane facelift, where it effectively pulls up the frontal part of your nasolabial fold. As the dissection area for this technique is broader, the technique is more advanced and lasts longer.
For rhinoplasty, there are many materials that can be used: silicone, goretex, septal/ear/rib cartilage. Asian nose usually have smaller nose structure, and Asian nose rhinoplasty requires to build the nose from the base - structure - bridge - and tip. Sometimes using foreign material extensively in the nose structure may increase the possibility of infections, complications, or contractions. In order to have least possibilities of complications, I recommend using your own cartilage.Septal cartilage inside the nose is good for rhinoplasty, but if the amount of septal cartilage is limited, autologous rib cartilage (your own rib cartilage) is recommended to build the entire structure & the shape.
While there are many ways to enhance the loosen skin on the facial area, I would say facelift is the most effective and lasts longest way to lift up the loosen skin.Mostly, sunken areas of the face can be filled up with facial fat grafting or fillers, but there are limitations. These methods are mostly to give volume to the sunken area, while facelift essentially removes the excess skin by dissecting and lifting up the skin.For better diagnosis and recommendations, I recommend you to step in for an in-person consultation.I hope this helps!
There are many different types of facelift and its' techniques. While there are many different non-surgicals and surgical methods, I would like to recommend extended deep plane facelift for a long lasting result. Extended deep plane facelift effectively pulls the anterior part of the loosen skin on the front cheek. This is effective to the concerned areas.
