It is now several months after my b/a and my nipples are still very puffy. I did not have puffy nipples before the surgery at all and now they seem to look almost tubular kinda. Is it normal to see such an increase in nipple size after surgery?

Answer: Nipple size increase Thank you for your question. The puffiness that you have is most likely a result of swelling from surgery. If you are more than a half year post-op though, you should be seen in person by your operating surgeon to determine what is the underlying cause of your nipples being puffier post-operatively.All the best,Dr. ResultsMiami, FL

Answer: Nipple Size Hello and congratulations on your breast augmentation. It is not uncommon for the nipples and areola to change after breast enlargement. I suggest that you see your surgeon and have an examination. Depending on how long your are out from surgery some residual swelling could also play a role. Good luck...
