I traveled from NJ to go to Dr Brown for a Deep Plane facelift because he was highly recommended by a friend who had multiple procedures done with him. He is professional, caring and patient in answering all of my questions before the surgery (I was nervous) and after my surgery. He was also willing to speak directly to my doctor when there was a pre-procedure glitch with my bloodwork to make sure I was totally safe prior to surgery. He also was easy to reach for questions post surgery insuring an easy and quick recovery. Dr. Browns staff is also attentive and kind making the whole experience positive and inviting. I highly recommend Dr. Brown. As an incentive for posting a review, this reviewer received an entry into RealSelf’s monthly $500 gift card giveaway.
I found Dr. Brown and The Loudoun Center for Plastic Surgery from a google search, I was very impressed by the before and after photos. I called the office to set up a consultation for a breast lift. I arrived early to my appointment and they took me back immediately. The staff is welcoming and the office is clean. During my consultation, Dr. Brown answered all my questions and made me feel confident in my decision, he expressed how excited he was for me. I scheduled my breast lift surgery and am blown away with the results. I recommend Dr. Brown and his team.
I had great experience with both my surgeries ( Breast Augmentation and Pocket Revision). He takes his time walks through the whole procedure and answers all your questions. His staff is professional and friendly and willing to help you.
Dr. Brown was very knowledge, professional, and has a significant amount of experience in the industry. I had breast augmentation and a mini tummy tuck done and love my results! I highly recommend Dr. Brown and his friendly staff.
Dr. Brown is an outstanding surgeon who is invested in providing patients with the best result’s possible. I am extremely pleased with my results and would recommend Dr. Brown to anyone looking for a surgeon who can skillfully and effectively deliver excellent care and very natural looking results.
Dr Brown and his staff are wonderful. A year after my Blepharoplasty procedure, Dr Brown did minor tweek to both eyes at no cost. I highly recommend. He also is fabulous with Botox. He exceeded my expectations. As an incentive for posting a review, this reviewer received an entry into RealSelf’s monthly $500 gift card giveaway
My breast implants were about 15 years old when I came to visit Dr. Brown for an upgrade. I had them replaced with larger saline implants and I love the results so much! Dr. Brown and his entire staff were so patient with me. They answered all my questions and I never once felt rushed. The whole experience was wonderful. I especially love that he has an in-house surgical center. My husband and friends gushed about how amazing my new breasts look, but honestly, I did it for me and I only care that I am so so happy with them!As an incentive for posting a review, this reviewer received an entry into RealSelf’s monthly $500 gift card giveaway
Look no further when needing the best of the best! Everything about Dr Brown and his team is professionalism at its best! Helpful! Courteous! Empathetic! Professional! Never in my life has every interaction been 100%+ satisfactory! Dr Brown's knowledge and confidence shows in his work! Not only did my augmentation exceed my expectations, but the end result looks so natural I forget they were augmented! A superb job! He proposed my size after LISTENING to me...not just seeing and saying this is for you...He took into consideration what I was looking for and wanting. Yes, I went a little bigger, and happy I did, but all in agreement with Dr Brown and the team there. Now, I have breasts like no other! I am so happy and more confident than before. In my mind Dr Brown gave me the path to feeling like a woman...like the woman I lost from youth! Well, ladies...she is alive and well...thanks to Dr Brown and the wonderful team he has. A huge thank you to Dr Brown's right hand lady: Amber! What a treasure! When she said she would be there for you after surgery, 24/7, I didn't believe. I was so wrong! She completes the entire experience Dr Brown is delivering. What a team! Do not hesitate with contacting Dr Brown and seeing for yourself. Thank you Team Loudon Center for Plastic Surgery! Thank you Amber - nurse extraordinaire! Thank you Dr Brown! All of you have made my year..made my life! Thank you
In August 2020, I was referred to Dr. Brown from my PCP so I called to set up a consultation. The Staff at Loudoun Center for Plastic Surgery are the absolute best! They were courteous, professional, and explained everything I needed. At times there were a few things I was confused on and they made sure to simplify it for me to understand. Great customer service, for that reason, I would recommend anyone in the Northern Virginia area visit them for their services.I had previously gone on consultations for BAs in the past so I didn't have too many initial questions other than what the current market had to offer as far as implant options. My previous consultants were 3-5 years prior. My discussion with Dr. Brown was light hearted and easy, he's actually quite funny, which made my nerves go away quickly. Dr. Brown gave me frank feedback and agreed that going any bigger than the 450cc I had chosen would not be a procedure he would do. That made me feel good that he wasn't a surgeon willing to do just about any procedure just for the money. My aesthetic goals was to achieve an "hour glass look", I simply wanted the top to match the bottom. Nothing too dramatic. But I'm still very active in playing sports and exercising so I didn't want to go too big where I wouldn't be able to perform/participate with the same level of intensity. I was previously a 34B, with broad shoulders and a wide breast plate, so I understand beforehand that I wouldn't come out of surgery with any cleavage. The. Best. Decision. I. Ever. Made. I couldn't be happier with my results! I'm 5m PO, so I'm pretty settled in at this point very satisfied with my results. I purchased a surgical bra prior to surgery. If your doctor recommends you get one, I suggest the one I have in my photo from Amazon. But I only wore mine once, to take this pic lol. Dr. Brown didn't clear me to wear a bra until 1 month PO. I've been using pasties unless I need a TShirt bra for the work place. Video was taken 3 months PO. Updated on 9 Feb 2021: As can see, I got the hour glass look that I wanted. Unless I’m wearing form fitting clothes, no one will be able to tell I had a breast augmentation... other than me telling them of course I got “cohesive gel” Natrelle Inspira SRF- 450cc L/R SRF = Smooth around Full Profile Updated on 9 Feb 2021: Photos Updated on 28 Feb 2021: Getting DM request for different angles... the side boob action crazy lol, but I believe they are appropriate for my frame. And I think that should be a focus and not the size based on other people’s bodies... Again... 450cc round over the muscle Cohesive gel (gummy bear) 34B to 34DD Updated on 13 Apr 2021: Honestly, Dr. Brown is the G.O.A.T!
When I went into my first consultation I was looking for a very modest increase to replace loss of volume. I admit when the surgeon recommended 300cc I was shocked and felt it was far too large. I selected 240 and 255. Afterwards I didn't feel super confident after a 45 minute consult. I played with rice sizers and I would highly recommend you do the same if you're unsure! It allowed me to wear them around the house if different clothes and I actually felt like the 300 range was what I wanted. So I went back for another sizing apt the week of my surgery and ended up going even bigger. I settled on 375L and 405R which was the largest my surgeon felt comfortable with given my annatomy and my desire for moderate profile. So far I am really pleased. I know they will drop and look better overtime. I'm so happy I decided to go larger. Especially since most women wish after their first Aug that they went bigger. Dr. Michael Brown in Loudoun County VA was my surgeon. Overall very happy with the results and care so far. Updated on 25 Jan 2021: Had my first follow up today. I am felling good. I am still sleeping with lots of pillows to make myself a little cocoon but overall am sleeping ok. I'm off the narcotics and switched to just Tylenol last night. I was even able to sleep all night without taking any extra. At follow up today I was showed how to do the breast massages and we talked about basic recovery timeline. Dr. Thinks that my tissues were pretty weak from BF and Pregnancy so they should drop quickly. Still loving the size. I'm excited to see how they settle in. Hubs finally admitted too he is excited. Ha. He played it so cool this whole time and now the truth comes out Updated on 28 Jan 2021: Starting to see some dropping and am feeling really great. I'm off meds completely. I have food mobility in my arms and am sleeping OK. But I am a stomach sleeper and now that the pain has subsided I'm having a harder time not trying to sleep on my belly. I feel like I'm pregnant all over again haha. Updated on 27 Feb 2021: Coming along great. It's been a month and I have been cleared for going back to working out. I had my first run yesterday and everything felt great! I'm dropping nicely. One side is a little higher than the other but I was told to continue massage and give the higher side more attention. I'm really happy with the results. Sometimes I feel they are small and other times large. I think that fits my goals perfectly. Recovery has been great. I was off pain killers really quickly - after a few days and haven't taken even a Tylenol since a week after surgery. I'm also back to sleeping on my stomach. Sometimes the chest muscle does feel odd with certain motions like using a can crusher or pulling in some directions but I'm sure I'll get used to it. The only other weirdness I have is either an air bubble or slight rippling on my right side. I'm hoping it resolves itself as my tissues continue to stretch. I'm so glad I went through with this. Hi,Thanks for posting your question. I am happy to try and help you. It is important to remember that a board certified plastic surgeon will be your best resource when it comes to an accurate assessment of your situation, and concerns. Having said that, if you are set on implant removal, I recommend draining the saline filled implants in the office to allow for a reasonable evaluation of the skin, breast shape and life impact of having the breast implants removed. It is a safe and quick procedure that can be done in the office. If the breast shape is something that requires adjustments in terms of requiring a lift or a smaller sized implant, then the degree of adjustment and the results can be discussed before surgery following the deflation. Best wishes, Dr. Michael J. Brown Northern Virginia Plastic Surgeon
Hi, Thanks for posting your question. I am happy to try and help you. It is important to remember that a board certified plastic surgeon will be your best resource when it comes to an accurate assessment of your situation, and concerns. Your pictures are very helpful. Having said that, you would require a breast lift if you want them to be improved as your nipple position is low and the breast implants alone were not enough to drive the nipple position up. The scars do fade quite nicely. You may also have an implant exchange if you aren't happy with the size or you can choose to keep the current implants. It is very common to have a breast lift and implant exchange at the same time. I hope you found this helpful. Have a great day.
Having said that, your breast implants for similar dimensions but going larger may or may not require capsule work to be done. It really depends on how tight or restricted your breast implants are now. If they are luscious and move beautifully, then the implant exchange should take about 20 minutes. If they are restricted do not move well, then you have a tight breast pocket and some revision work will need to done on the pocket. As far as recovery, even with a new insertion point and if the positioning is the same, your recovery should be much easier and less painful than your primary surgery. Remember that in your size range you will need to go about 100-150 cc to notice a difference. Best wishes, Dr. Michael J. Brown Northern Virginia Plastic Surgeon
Good evening and thank you for your question! It should be fine for you to receive an IPL treatment now, but would recommend checking with your plastic surgeon beforehand to clear you for the treatment. Best of luck! For more information, please feel free to visit our website!
