Are my breasts tubular/tuberous or just small? (photos)

From these photos it just appears as though you have small breasts, not tuberous but without examining you it is difficult to be certain. If you want larger breasts then get a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon near you to discuss breast augmentation. Best of luck! 

From the pictures you do not seem to have tuberous breasts at all.  This is a good situation for you because a tuberous breast can be tricky to correct.

Thank you for your question and images. From the information that you have provided I do not think that you have tuberous breasts. A frontal image would also be helpful but the most common finding is a constriction of the lower pole of the breast and coning of the breast shape. Although you have some puffiness around the nipples the overall breast envelope looks uniform. Otherwise you look like a good candidate for breast augmentation surgery.RegardsDr Guy Watts

Hello and thanks for your question. Your breasts are small or hypoplastic it tuberous. You can do well with breast augmentation surgery. Seek a BCPS to discuss your options.

It can be difficult to tell from the photographs but you do no appear to have tuberous breast.  However, tuberous breast is a range of issues and perhaps you have limited skin in the lower half of the breast, which is part of tuberous breast.  Nontheless, the treatment regarding increasing the breast size is the same, even if you do have tuberous breast.  An implant will give a larger breast size and in patients with small breasts with little shape and/or tuberous breasts, shaped silicone implants give a very pretty result.Hope this helps.Tracy Pfeifer, MD, MS

The breasts from these angles do not look tuberous, they just look small. If you want larger breasts, then go for implants.

hi a frontal pic would help more... there may be a very mild degree of tuberosity - but this is quite common and often doesnt need correction per se.implants only would give a good resultall the bestNilesh Sojitra

The absence of a frontal view limits a comprehensive evaluation; however I don't believe you have tubular breasts.The width between your breasts may be due to a sternal issue such as pectus excavatum; that can be addressed with fat grafting.Hope this helps

You do not have any of the characteristics of tubular breasts. Your breasts are just small. This is actually a better situation to be in than having tubular breasts. Simply placing implants should give you a nice result.
