You show none of the cardinal signs of tubular breasts. Your breasts are not set far apart, you show no sign of herniation of breast tissue into your areola, you in fact have both inferior medial and interior lateral breast tissue present, and you show no signs of a constricted breast. With reference to the size of your areola, they appear to be normal on the photographs you sent. There was a study done in England decades ago with over 1,000 females showing that the average areola size is 4.2cm. If you are considering a breast augmentation, the larger your breasts are, the smaller your areola will appear in relationship to the enlarged breasts.I hope I have answered your questions to your satisfaction.
Thank you for your question and photos. It does not appear that you have tuberous breasts nor do you appear to have "far from average" areolas. All the best,Dr. ResultsMiami, FL
Thank you for sharing your question and photos. Based on the photographs, I do not feel that you have tuberous breasts in your area oversize are within the normal range. If you have any concerns with the size of your breasts or areola, I would visit with a board-certified plastic surgeon who can discuss different options with you.
Thank you for your question and photographs Tuberous breasts exist along a spectrum of mild to severe, but based on your supplied pictures, it does not appear that you have tuberous breasts. Tuberous breasts are hallmarked by elevated breast creases, that are "tight" causing a narrow shape to the breasts. The constriction of tissue also pushes the native breast tissue into the areola, enlarging it and making nipples appear "puffy." I do not see any of these in your photograph, but I would recommend an in-person assessment with a board certified surgeon to help discuss your breast shape, and possible treatments to make them appear closer to what you would like.
and you can benefit from an augmentation if you wish to be larger and fuller. If you feel your areola are too large, you can have them reduced if accepting of the scars and risks.
From the appearance of your breeasts on the photos you have submitted, it does not appear that you have tuberous breasts. The size of your areola seem to be proportional to your breast size.
Thank you for the question and photos. There is a range for what "normal" is for everything including breast appearance and areola size. Your breasts and areola size appear to be well within what most would consider normal. I do not see anything that would make me think otherwise. All the best,Dr Remus Repta
I am happy to tell you that your breasts are perfectly normal! Any patient with tubular a.k.a. tuberous breasts would be thrilled to have your breasts as a postoperative result!
Your breast shape and the size of the areolas are normal. You have a little volume asymmetry. But patients often want a different look, and if that's the case, get a consultation with a plastic surgeon and see about making the change to a size/shape that you find pleasing.
