Tummy tuck 3 days ago, today, vaginal swelling. Is this normal?

Congratulations on having undergone the tummy tuck procedure. Some degree of pubic and/or genitalia swelling is quite commonly seen after this type of surgery.  In other words, what you are experiencing is most likely normal. Hi.  It is fairly normal to get swelling of the labia and vaginal area after a tummy tuck and liposuction.  If you have pain as well it is certainly reasonable to touch base with your surgeon to sort through things.  Pain there is not unusual, but depending on your symptoms could also indicate something else, like a urinary tract infection, or yeast infection.  Good luck and take care, Dr. Howell
