I am 6 weeks post op and thought i was healling fine till now. I had some scabs in certain places on my scar and now that the scabs are coming off i am left with a small hole where the scab was. The holes are small and they do not hurt but you can see like yellow skin inside. Is this normal? What wound care should I use? And will my scar heal evenly in those places? My surgeon is from out of state so i cant see him personally. Thank you in advance!

HiThe short answer is yes and this is often done depending on the size of the mons. The mons is also almost always elevated as part of the procedure. Essentially you can decide how low your scar can be placed.RegardsDamien
As you can see by the responses here, each surgeon has their own opinion on IUDs and surgery. While it is possible to have a tummy tuck with an IUD, you should ask your surgeon if it’s okay with them, since it could increase your risk of developing blood clots.
