Will this dent or bump in my thigh after liposuction go away? (Photo)

JennyFirst off,  I would not seek postoperative surgical advice from a masseuse. She is in no position to answer these type of questions. It can take as long as six months for swelling to resolve and after that time, if there is still any asymmetry or irregularities, touch up with further liposuction or fat grafting can be performed. Follow up with your plastic surgeon and discuss your concerns. Good luck. 

Thanks for the question, its hard to tell at this time if its swelling or asymmetric healing. EIther way I would wait about 6 months than decide if you need a touch up with either more lipo or some fta grafting to smooth things out!

You are still early on the healing process, it can take up to six months to see your final results, so please be patient. At the stage you are in, inflammation is normal.

La recuperación post operatoria de una liposucción puede tomar de 3 a 6 meses , es ese tiempo el cuerpo cicatriza y re modela la cicatriz interna después de la liposuccion , en lo personal no recomiendo masajes , el mejor resultado es ultrasonido temprano, ahora vien es importante ver que plano de profundidad o superficialidad tomaron para su liposuccion de piernas, un poco de paciencia es necesaria.

I’m not sure how many weeks or months you’re recovering from liposuction, but it’s normal to still have swelling and bruising in the area for about 3-6 months post-op.
I suggest that you follow-up with your reputable and board-certified plastic surgeon regarding this. You’ll get more personalized and accurate advice from your surgeon rather than your masseuse.
