1- is stomach fat the best suited fat to go to a bbl? would fat from arms or legs or back work just as well? 2- would doing a bbl decrease your chances of excess weight gain to arms and legs after liposuction 360? The fat has a selection, washing, and filtering process for application and for ensuring it is sown. Fat from the Back (Bra roll or lower flank) is just as suitable as fat from the abdominal area for transfer. As for the chance of weight gain, Liposuction with Fat Transfer does not reduce the chance of gaining weight in the same areas after the procedure.

Great question. In general, fat is fat and it doesn't matter where it comes from on your body. The areas of harvest are chosen based on what will make the most sense for each patient. In general Lipo360 is the best to combine with BBL because it shapes the waist while we are transferring fat to the butt and hips, giving the best hourglass but not everyone has fat around their waist so we do go to other areas to harvest sometimes. As for gaining weight on the arms and legs, if you have fat harvested from one area, like 360 degrees around the torso and then gain weight chances are it will go to different locations so its best to do your best to maintain a healthy lifestyle and stable weight after your procedure to protect your results as best as possible.

The stomach is the most common area of liposuction for a BBL because it's the area where there are, usually, the most fat cells. Arms, legs, and back can also work, but you need to think about the amount of fat located in each area. Depending on your goals, and how big you want your BBL you may need to combine multiple areas of liposuction. Keeping a stable weight is always recommended to maintain your results.

the quality of fat will not depend on the harvesting location. It usually depends on the type of liposuction, surgeon's technique, preparation method, etc. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Any fat that can be taken with liposuction can be used for a BBL. Legs and arms would also work. We mostly use abdominal, waist and back fat to give contour at the same time.
BBl will not decrease your chance for gaining weight. You should follow your diet to keep in the desired shape.

The best areas for fat transfer have not been scientifically been delineated. The more important consideration is where to transfer the fat from in order to get you the best aesthetic results. As you have alluded, where ever you have fat left over it will be prone to getting fat if you gain weight.
