I am planning to get Voluma fillers to address slight facial volume loss but I also suffered from a rosacea flareup which has been fortunately under control and still is. Are there any side effects to Voluma, and should anyone with my skin condition worry about adverse reaction?

Answer: You should be able to safely use Voluma or any other HA (hyaluronic acid) filler without experiencing a problem with Rosacea.

You should not have any problem with having Voluma injected with a history of rosacea. There may be a temporary increase in inflammation at the injection sites, but you are not at risk of bad reaction because of the volume itself.
It would be helpful to know the amount of Voluma that you had placed during these treatments. Some of the initial affect from injection may have been related to swelling which eventually subsides. Keep in mind that even in the Voluma XC clinical study patients often received substantial volumes...
