Can being on a medicine to increase one's metabolism shorten the lifespan of Voluma?

It would be helpful to know the amount of Voluma that you had placed during these treatments. Some of the initial affect from injection may have been related to swelling which eventually subsides. Keep in mind that even in the Voluma XC clinical study patients often received substantial volumes (anywhere from 1.2 ml to 13.9 ml, with median injected amount of 6.6 ml) and repeat injections to achieve optimal results.

I don't beleive here is any literature to suggest hthat Vyvanase can speed up metabolism of Volume. I have never seen any medicatiosn adversely affect the longevity of this volumizer.

The usual problem with poor longevity of filler is related to not enough used so it doesn't look like much was done. Spread it out in too many areas is also a problem. Having said that, there is a subset of patients who repeatedly have poor longevity. Alternatives for those patients are the non HA fillers like Radiesse, Sculptra, Artefill, and fat. You won't metabolize fat more than the normal person. 

There are no studies to show conclusively that any medications would make you metabolize a filler faster. Quite frankly if this were the case, we would give whatever the med was to people who wanted to get rid of filler, and we don't, because there is no evidence. Usually people who have less longevity of it experience that because too little product was put it, expecting too much. A syringe of Voluma only has 1cc of material in it. Which is less than a teaspoon. So it's just not that much. If you try to use too little or cover too much of an area with a single syringe, it just doesn't go far enough.
