I have pretty bad neck banding and some neck laxity. Too scared to go through with any facelift procedure. Have had a few consults and every dr only performs mini lift in conjunction with the neck. And none mentioned the corset procedure which I think would be best.

Answer: Platysmaplasty without facelift Yes, in theory this is possible, with incision under the chin only, but potentially it can create distortion on the jawline and the lateral neck if the skin is not lifted at the same time. FOr some patients, it might work. You'd need to be examined in person to tell for sure. We are close to your home in Staten Island and would be happy to consult with you about the possibilities.
