Ive gained and lost weight all my life and Ive always had a double chin no matter how thin I get but now my skin is starting to sag. I dont wanna get fillers and overfill my face. I wanna know what surgical procedures can be done to help me get a more defined jawline
I had a deep plane neck and facelift 6 mos. ago. I am 51 and had significant neck laxity due to weight loss. The turkey neck was removed, but Ive been left with hollowing and sagging on each side. I posted previously, but some of my pictures were omitted. Im reposting with additional photos of the issue. My surgeon wants to do Forma and CoolPeel which Im reluctant to do. I was told by another surgeon that revision surgery would be too risky because I had deep plane. How can this be fixed?
Im 44 years old and feel like I look decent for my age. My neck, however looks terrible. Its all I see when I look in the mirror and I find myself holding my head in uncomfortable positions to try to mask it. I plan to get a facelift in 5-6 years, but my neck cant wait that long. What is the approximate cost and minimum expected down time? I had a chin implant and neck lipo about 10 years ago and there is no excess fat under my chin. Its all just saggy skin.
A few yrs ago I Iost 100 lbs. My skin does look bad but i had a couple things done that medicare covered due to rashes. My neck and lower face looks horrible and its keeps me in therapy due to loww self esteem now. Even with the weight loss. What is the best thing I can do? I dont know that I can Afford it though.
I don't want the scars in front of the ears. I'm 40. I believe my cheek area is in decent condition, where deep plane facelift is not really warranted yet. I had jawline lipo and didn't give me the definition I wanted. I think I have deep neck fat, maybe glands that need trimming. Is my hyoid high? I'd like to get deep plane necklift with incision under chin and behind ears. I keep reading from some surgeons, neck lift only does not work or last, just because SMAS is connected with platysma. If you are removing deeper structures that add bulk and tightening the platysma, it should last many years, despite not doing a facelift. I'm also considering maybe doing a ponytail facelift in conjunction with deep plane necklift, but concerned about raising of lateral canthus of eyes, potentially feminizing the eyes? I would do the deep plane face and neck, if it wasn't for that ridiculous scar in front of tragus, as a man, we are more prone to scarring, keloids, is unacceptable for a younger man and people will notice the scar even with makeup
I have extra skin under my chin from when I gained weight from an under active thyroid. I gained about 40lb in 6 weeks before knowing I had it and as soon as I got on the medication, I lost the weight extremely fast. I have this stubborn extra skin under my chin that wont go away. I'm looking for surgery options. I just turned 30.
I've been feeling not like myself the past year. I've noticed a huge change in my jawline and neck elasticity. I get chin filler and Botox in my very strong Platysmal bands and it still hasn't changed. I just can't pinpoint exactly why my face and head feel so unbalanced and large as of the last year. I've also lost 20lbs and at my thinnest. Would a neck lift be what I need?
I am a 67 year old female that had a neck lift 17 months ago. It left me with extreme vertical lines from chin down. My surgeon has given me 4 rounds of Morpheus 8 to try to diminish them but it really hasnt worked. What went wrong and what to do now? The surgeon offered me a redo, but honestly, I hate to go through the surgery again. I have some neck and jaw nerve damage as well. Im just thinking in 10 years, these lines will sag and it will look worse than before I had this procedure done
I am a 27yo F. I am really active/thin but have always had an issue with having just roundness at my jawline and a double chin when I look down or smile. I am not sure whether I would benefit from liposuction because it also feels like I have excess skin which is contributing the rolls in my side profile. Do I have a weak bone structure or would a neck lift help remove the fat/skin and give me a better profile. Ive been saving up to address it this year as its a huge insecurity. Thanks!
