I have this excess skin that isn't on my face, nor on my neck. It's due to bone loss from dental issues rather than typical aging. I don't believe lasers and gimmicks and want permanent skin removal. What procedure would address this small area without stretching or pulling of surrounding skin in the neck area? Can incisions be done under the jaw or crease of neck to remove this small bit of skin or a full neck lift with incisions behind the ear needed?
I had a necklift performed by a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon 21 months ago. Since day one I have had extreme burning pain just below the ears. My PS said he put permanent sutures in the area of the Lore's Fascia. I have tiny hard bumps in the immediate area which I suspect are granulomas. Could I be reacting to the sutures after all this time or is it the granulomas causing the burning? Should I have sutures removed. My PS dismissed me as a patient after only one visit for no reason and no anwers. I can't live like this.
Hello! 42 Year old, 150 lbs. Hoping for some suggestions on what procedure will help to create a more defined jawline and chin. I've always had a sloping chin but it has only gotten worse with age. I have heard many different recommendations so not sure which direction to go in. Thank you for your help!
I (37F) had a neck lift (incision under my chin, behind my ears, tightening the platysma muscle, lipo) in December 2024, and Im feeling pretty disappointed with my results. There is definitely improvement, but my profile and amount of skin under my chin is not what I was hoping for after having my neck surgically lifted. I have expressed my concerns to my surgeon, and the plan is to wait a full year for final results before exploring further interventions or revision. Im okay with that, but its hard for me to imagine things looking much better in five months. If I do end up doing a revision with my surgeon, is it possible to get a better result if they werent able to get it there initially? My surgeon is a double board-certified facial plastic surgeon with rave reviews. I dont understand.. advice? Options? Thanks in advance.
Almost 6 months ago, I had a lower face and neck lift. I started to notice the same look coming back so I went to see my doctor and he suggested intense massage, Botox, or a possible revision. Does this look like cobra neck, and a surgery really the only way to fix it?
Hello. 30F, had a deep plane necklift 6 months ago. I never did any LMDs post op (I asked my surgeon and he said it can help but not needed). Comparing my photos today to my immediate post op pics, I can tell its not fully recovered yet (immediate post op pics were before swelling kicked in). I also notice some weird texture/lumps/long stretches of skin on my neck that looks odd. Would LMD help with this? Is it too late post op to have any real effects?
Hello I had my Deep Plane Face/Neck lift 10 months ago with Submandular gland reduction along with upper and lower bleph and endoscopic brow lift. My neck is thick looking from my profile and not sculpted and sharp as I had expected. Could it still just be swollen or should I address this? Not sure what if anything can be done? My weight is the same. Any advice would be much appreciated . Thank you
I am a 35YO bald man with a double chin. Iv been to a few doctors who say that a neck lift is basically out of the question because they can't hide the scars. They recommend lipo with skin tightening with Renuvion. I'm afraid it wont be enough. Can bald men get necklifts. Does anyone know a doctor who specializes in bald men?
