Plastic surgery scars require attention after surgery so that they remain cosmetically-appealing and barely noticeable. In our office, we use a protocol for scars that minimizes their activity in the 6-8 weeks after surgery. If you have late plastic surgery scars, you may also require laser and RF therapy to help reduce the longterm effects of the scarring. Thank you for sharing your question and photographs and congratulations on your procedure!  Massages after surgery are thought useful in order to evenly distribute any tissue swelling so that the body absorbs it faster.  In most cases I do not advocate for this as it can be painful, lead to an increase in swelling, and may predispose you to bleeding (especially in the first two weeks after surgery).  I would contact your surgeon and inform them of your issues, they can then make the best decision for your recovery.  Best wishes.
