No, it is unlikely that hitting your forehead will negatively impact your results. Keep in mind it can take 1-2 weeks for final results with Botox. Best, Dr. Emer
Thank you for your question. The effect of Botox should not be affected. Please make sure that you do not have any other injury.
In my opinion, hitting your head 2-3 hours after receiving Botox to slim your jaw and help with TMJ should not affect the results of your treatment.
A knock to your head is very unlikely to have any effect on the outcome of your BOTOX®, particularly as it was injected into your jaw. Remember that it does take between 7 and 10 days for the results of BOTOX® injections to fully develop, so try to put the knock out of your mind and relax. As an aside, you should get checked out for any injuries to your head, if you haven’t already done so.

This will not affect the outcome of the Botox treatment. The area of trauma is not in the area of the injection and most likely not disturb the Botox. There is nothing that can be done currently and worrying won't change the outcome.

There should be no effect on the outcome of your Botox treatment to your jaw from hitting your head. The product is injected into the muscle and would not be impacted by a blow to a different part of the head.
I would not be concerned about what had occurred. It will not affect outcome of the botox injections to your masseter muscles.
Dermatologists often recommend to not massage the area where you had BOTOX injections in order to avoid migration of the product, but hitting you head hard will not affect the outcome of the procedure

Within 2 to 4 hours botulinum toxin is absorbed into the muscles and is unlikely to spread further. I restrict patient activity for that period of time and ask my patients to avoid compression of the treated area or massage. From a practical standpoint an expert will not have problems with d...
Thank you for your question. It is important to not completely relax the masseter muscles because it would make chewing difficult. Typically, Botox lasts 3-4 months. You will want to repeat treatment every 3-4 months to keep the muscles from building up strength again. Botox is a very effective...
Thank you for your question. No, Botox cannot cause dehydration. It's important to drink plenty of water in any situation. I recommend following up with your primary care physician for an evaluation and to determine the cause. Best of Luck!
