After becoming a single mom and gaining 60 pounds during pregnancy, I found myself stuck in a body that no longer felt like mine. I used to be an avid runner, but postpartum life threw me off track, and that “temporary” rut lasted for seven years. I often found myself saying how I “used to run” or “used to go to the gym,” like I was holding onto pieces of the person I used to be. I started hating the way I felt in every piece of clothing. For a long time, I thought it was the clothes, but eventually I realized it was how uncomfortable I was in my own skin.

When I decided to make a change, I thought I would start small by getting liposuction on my flanks. That area had always been a trouble spot for me, even when I was at my fittest.

The surgery went perfectly. From start to finish, I felt completely supported. Dr. V is not only skilled but also genuinely caring. What really stood out to me was the level of follow-up after the surgery. Dr. V's office called daily to check in on me, making sure I was healing well and addressing any questions I had. It really gave me peace of mind during the recovery process.
One of the things that truly sets Dr. V apart is his commitment to his patients. Over a weekend, I experienced some post-operative pain and was surprised when Dr. V personally called me to check on how I was feeling. After our conversation, he encouraged me to go to the ER for a CAT scan to ensure everything was fine. I was completely taken aback when Dr. V came to the hospital, ordered the necessary tests, and remained in constant contact with the ER doctor throughout my stay. Fortunately, my complications were not related to the surgery and subsided soon after, but the fact that Dr. V took the time out of his weekend to personally come to the hospital and ensure my well-being speaks volumes about his dedication and care for his patients.
Now to the important part! My end results have been truly amazing. I am beyond pleased with how my body looks and 3 weeks post-op, I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Dr. V listened carefully to everything I said I wanted, and he “sculpted me” into exactly that—while maintaining a natural balance with the rest of my body’s shape.
