Thank you for your question. Botox cosmetic is not known to cause dehydration. Best to seek care from your primary care physician to discuss. Best of luck.
No, Botox won't cause dehydration. I recommend following up with a Doctor for a formal evaluation to determine cause. Best, Dr. Emer
Thank you for your question. No, Botox cannot cause dehydration. It's important to drink plenty of water in any situation. I recommend following up with your primary care physician for an evaluation and to determine the cause. Best of Luck!
As my colleagues have agreed, Botox/neurotoxin is not known to have a correlation with dehydration. Best to seek assessment and treatment from your PCP. Hope this helps!
Thank you for your question. Dehydration has not been shown to be a complication/adverse reaction of botox injections. I recommend seeing your general practitioner or an internal medicine specialist to find out why you are dehydrated to the point of needing IV fluid. Best of luck.
I would not expect an association between your dehydration and the Botox injections and would seek care from your general doctor to evaluate for possible causes.
Botox is unlikely to cause dehydration. I would search for another cause and concentrating on drinking several liters of water per day.
Botox (like Xeomin and Dysport) is a medication injected into target muscles of the face to selectively relax them for fewer/softer wrinkles. This medication affect the signal going from a nerve to a muscles. It does not affect how well hydrated you are. It's important to drink plenty of water in any situation. Safety comes first.
There is absolutely no way Botox can cause or contribute to dehydration. You may be overexercising but see your family doctor
Dear Judee Thank you for your question. There is no possibility of Botox having a systemic effect on your body with the doses you will be having jn your forehead. My thoughts are that you need to drink more fluids. Doubtless if you have had IV fluids in hospital other illness have been checked for and excluded. There are some very uncommon illnesses that can cause you to pee large amouts of urine as well as the obvious ones. Unrelated to botox but can be caused by other medication.Kind Regards Dr Dinesh Maini
