Thank you for your question. After receiving Restylane Refyne, you may experience some tenderness in the affected area, as well as minor swelling and bruising. These will all resolve on their own with time - it typically takes just a few days for symptoms to subside, and you can enjoy the effects of Refyne for up to 12 months. My best advice would be to get fillers placed by a very experienced and qualified injector, and to closely follow their post-injection protocol in order to receive the results you desire. Best of luck!
After a Restylane Refyne injection there is risk of swelling and bruising. Swelling should go down after a couple of days. A full recovery of the swelling and bruising is considered to be 2 weeks after injection. Restylane Refyne will maintain movement and expression in your lips, while also treating fine lines and wrinkles. Results will last for about 6 months after injection.
Immediately after Restalyne Refyne injections there will be minimal swelling as well as possible tiny bruises. Ice compresses for 24 to 48 hrs and applying Arnica Gel 4X a day for first couple of days will be helpful. It is also recommended not to work out for 48 hrs, drink heavy alcohol or get on a plane because that would increase swelling and bruising.
Thanks for your question. Refyne injections will lead to some temporary swelling and tenderness to the area. Ice and rest will help to make you more comfortable. See my video link on tips on how to deal with swelling after dermal fillers.Best to you. Dr. ALDO
Restylane Refyne is great for areas with high movement. Injections in these areas can be done with a cannula which reduces swelling and bruising by greater than 95%. Generally, a very mild swelling for 24 hours and occasional redness during the same time is all that is expected. Rarely, a small pinpoint bruise can occur at the injection site which is still easily covered with makeup.
Thank you for your question about Restylane Refyne. As with any HA filler injections, you can expect some short term side effects after Restylane Refyne injections. The most common are bruising at the site of the injection and mild swelling over the areas treated. Hyaluronic Acid Fillers, including Restylane Refyne are "hydrophilic" and attract and hold on to water, causing swelling. This is typically mild and only lasts for a few days. Your provider should also counsel you on post injection care. This includes, but is not limited to, avoiding exercise for 24 hours, avoidance of aspirin/ibuprofen/fish oils to avoid bruising, avoiding heat or sun exposure for 24 hours, avoid waxing or laser treatments to the area for 24 hours, and avoiding massage of the injection site. To be sure, see two or more experienced, licensed and board-certified providers in your area for a complete evaluationto make sure you are a good candidate and that it is safe for you to havetreatment.I hope this helps.
Thank you for your question. Dermal fillers can be a procedure where you minimal to no down-time from a socially visible standpoint. However, you do have to factor in that there is a chance of bruising and swelling. Refyne does not attract as much tissue edema (swelling) compared to some of the other products. I generally tell my patients to minimize things that make you hot or sweaty for 24 hours (e.g. alcohol, exercise, saunas, hot baths, etc...) so that it limits the chance of swelling and bruising. More importantly, I would recommend visiting with an experienced injector as it can make a big difference in terms of what your results are.
Restylane Refyne is a type of hyaluronic acid dermal filler used to smooth moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds (the lines that run from the sides of the nose to the corners of the mouth). Here's what you can typically expect immediately after a Restylane Refyne injection:1. Immediate results: You may notice an immediate improvement in the appearance of treated areas, with reduced wrinkles and smoother skin. However, some swelling and minor bruising may initially obscure the final results.2. Temporary swelling: Swelling is a common side effect after dermal filler injections, including Restylane Refyne. The treated area may appear slightly swollen or puffy immediately after the injection, but this typically subsides within a few days as your body adjusts to the filler.3. Possible bruising: Bruising at the injection site is also common and may occur as a result of the needle punctures. The severity and duration of bruising can vary depending on factors such as individual susceptibility, the skill of the injector, and any precautions taken before or after the procedure.4. Redness or tenderness: Some redness or tenderness at the injection site may occur, but this is usually mild and temporary. It should resolve within a few days.5. Minimal downtime: One of the benefits of Restylane Refyne injections is that they typically require minimal downtime. Many people are able to resume their normal activities immediately after the procedure, although you may be advised to avoid strenuous exercise, excessive sun or heat exposure, and alcohol consumption for the first 24 hours to minimize swelling and bruising.6. Follow-up care: Your healthcare provider may provide specific instructions for post-treatment care, such as gently massaging the treated area or avoiding certain medications that can increase the risk of bruising. It's essential to follow these instructions carefully to optimize your results and minimize the risk of complications.Overall, Restylane Refyne injections are generally well-tolerated, and most people are pleased with the immediate improvement in their appearance. However, individual experiences may vary, so it's essential to discuss any concerns or questions with your healthcare provider before undergoing treatment.
Thank you for your question. Restylane Refyne is a dermal filler that can have results lasting up to one year. Common effects right after injection include redness, swelling, tenderness and some bruising at injection sight. Most of these symptoms resolve quite quickly but it is not uncommon for them to mildly persist up to two weeks post injection. Be sure to consult with a provider who is well trained in injectables such as a board certified plastic surgeon.
Following injection of Refyne, typically patients see minimal swelling (2-4 days), and some mild bruising (very patient dependent). The area may feel tender to touch or movement, and there also may be some lumpiness felt. Resolution of these side effects is typically seen within 7-14 days. I LOVE Refyne in the lips and it is a great option for softening fine lines. Cheers! Sarah RN BSN
