I'm a mid-40's male and was a little trepidatious when visiting Beautologie as I'm new to the world of fillers, botox, dysport, etc. After COVID-19 I simply was exhausted and my face reflected that. I heard wonderful things about Dr. M Shah @Beautologie and decided to give it a shot. It was a great experience overall from the well-designed office, the friendly front office team and nurses Jen and Nicole. The intake, level of communication before, during and after the procedure (dysport) was simply top-notch. No pain whatsoever, calming and just outstandingly skilled professionals with a sincere and kind demeanor.
Dr Milan shah is the best at what he does. He has the best staff ever in life. Yesterday I went for a consultation with robin and dr shah. It was the best. I received the best care and learned so much about my options for scultra for my buttock. I will only use dr shah and his staff because I trust them the most. They have never lied to me. That means more than anything in the world. Hooray for BEAUTOLOGIE!!! I've used them for the last 10 years and will never go any place else.
I had lip filler injections performed in September, 2019. I had my consultation with Dr. Milan Shah, he was wonderful. He explained the whole process, made recommendations for what product would be best for me specifically, and answered all my questions about the process. When it came time for the actual injections, Brittany, an RN, performed the procedure. She was fantastic, very knowledgeable and made me feel instantly comfortable. She injected a full syringe of the Restylane, Defyne. I wanted a natural full looking pout and Beautologie exceeded my expectations. I’m now obsessed with my lips.
I was nervous coming by myself today. But Ashley was so nice. My nerves were settled very quickly! Dr. Shah is the sweetest Doctor I've ever meet! Awesome place all the nurses & coordinators are very good! I am extremely happy with the visit and my overall experience. I can't wait to begin my treatment plan. Thank you!
Just had my forehead and crows feet injected today! Had gone in with the intention of getting Botox but decided on Dysport since there was a rebate offer. Wish I would of read reviews prior to my injections...As I read on through these reviews its seems like there are more disatisfied patients vs satisfied :( Scary. Well I will just wait and see what happens, hopefully I dont regret it. Updated on 21 Jun 2011: So I am 5 days into it and I am not so satisfied :/ My forehead and crows feet look much better, however now I have drooping eyelids...Why? Does anyone know if this will go away?
this year I had a breast reduction correction 6 months ago, liposuction in my upper torso 5 months ago, and knee surgery. Which has nothing to do with this site. ha. Anyway, I just had my boob follow up today showing my doc how huge the boob fat is on my left side. He suggested Kybella. I scheduled it for tomorrow. I will update with the cost and how it went tomorrow! Updated on 28 Dec 2016: I think I'm going to be very disappointed. I was told I would be swollen for a few weeks, but I'm not even swollen! yet?? The area is still tender, but I see no change at all. I know this area has been done in Bakersfield and L.A. but since I'm old (ha!) things (procedures) don't turn out the way I want. After the 4th week I'll take a picture and see if y'all can tell the difference. Updated on 8 Feb 2017: had my follow up. I told my doc it didn't work. They pulled up the before and after pics, and he thought he could see a slight difference. I thought 'not much'. He wants to do more injections (I'm sure it will be free) but since it was so painful, I have to think about this one! Updated on 16 Mar 2017: I think the Kybella worked! Not entirely, but some. My doc said he could give me more injections but I haven't said 'okay' yet because it was so freaking painful! Since this is a somewhat new procedure (Kybella is only supposed to be for double chins, etc) there isn't anything to compare the results to. I'm happy it's not as noticeable as it was!
Both Voluma and Sculptra are injectable dermal fillers used to add volume and lift to the cheeks, but they work in slightly different ways and have different properties. Here's a comparison:1. Voluma: Voluma is a hyaluronic acid filler specifically designed to add volume and lift to the cheeks. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance in the body that helps maintain moisture and volume in the skin. Voluma provides immediate volume and lift upon injection and can last up to 2 years or more. It's known for its ability to create a subtle, natural-looking lift in the cheeks.2. Sculptra: Sculptra, on the other hand, is made from poly-L-lactic acid, a synthetic biocompatible material that stimulates the body's own collagen production. Rather than providing immediate results like Voluma, Sculptra works gradually over time to stimulate collagen production, which helps restore volume and improve skin elasticity. Multiple sessions of Sculptra injections are usually needed to achieve the desired results, and the effects can last up to 2 years or more.In terms of effectiveness at lifting the cheeks, both Voluma and Sculptra can produce significant and long-lasting results. However, the choice between the two may depend on factors such as your specific anatomy, aesthetic goals, and preferences, as well as the recommendations of your injector. It's essential to consult with a skilled and experienced injector who can assess your individual needs and provide recommendations based on your unique situation. They can help determine which filler is best suited to achieve your desired outcome for cheek augmentation.
After Volbella injections, which are a type of dermal filler commonly used to enhance the lips and smooth fine lines around the mouth, it can take a bit of time for the filler to settle and integrate fully into the surrounding tissue. Here's what you might expect:1. Immediate Results: You may notice some immediate plumping and smoothing effects right after the injections due to the volume added by the filler.2. Initial Swelling: Swelling and potential bruising are common after any injection, including Volbella. This initial swelling can sometimes make the area feel a bit lumpy or uneven, but it usually subsides within a few days.3. Smooth Results: The smoothness of the filler should become more apparent as any swelling resolves and the filler settles into place. This process typically takes about 1 to 2 weeks.4. Final Results: You can expect to see the final results of your Volbella treatment within 2 weeks to a month after the injections. At this point, any residual swelling or minor irregularities should have been resolved, leaving you with smooth and natural-looking results. It's essential to follow your injector's post-treatment instructions carefully to help minimize swelling and ensure optimal results. If you have any concerns about the appearance or feel of the treated area during the healing process, don't hesitate to contact your provider for guidance and reassurance.
Swelling after lip injections with dermal fillers such as Silk can vary from person to person and depends on several factors, including the individual's body's response to the filler, the amount injected, and any pre-existing conditions. However, here's a general timeline for what you might expect:1. Immediate Swelling: Immediately after the injection, you will likely experience some swelling, redness, and possibly bruising at the injection sites. This is a normal reaction to the injection process and typically subsides within a few hours to a day.2. Initial Days: In the first few days following the injection, you may experience increased swelling as your body reacts to the filler and begins the healing process. Swelling can vary in intensity and may be more pronounced in some individuals than others.3. Peak Swelling: Swelling typically peaks around 1-2 days after the injection and gradually begins to decrease after that. During this time, your lips may feel more full and swollen than you expected, but this is a normal part of the healing process.4. Subsiding Swelling: Over the next few days, the swelling should gradually subside, and your lips will start to settle into their final shape and size. By the end of the first week, most of the swelling should have resolved, although minor swelling may persist for a little longer.5. Final Results: It may take up to two weeks or more to see the final results of your lip injections, as any residual swelling continues to diminish and the filler settles into place. At this point, you should have a better idea of how your lips will look long-term.Keep in mind that everyone's body reacts differently to fillers, so your experience may vary. Additionally, proper aftercare, such as avoiding excessive pressure on the lips, staying hydrated, and following any specific instructions provided by your injector, can help minimize swelling and promote optimal results. If you have any concerns about swelling or other side effects after your Silk injections, be sure to contact your healthcare provider for guidance.
If you develop bumps or nodules after Sculptra injections, there are several treatment options available to help manage and reduce their appearance. Here are some common approaches:1. Massage: Gentle massage of the affected area can help distribute the Sculptra evenly and break up any lumps or nodules that have formed. Your healthcare provider can demonstrate the proper massage technique to use at home.2. Warm Compress: Applying a warm compress to the injection site can help soften the tissue and promote the absorption of the Sculptra. This can be particularly effective when combined with massage.3. Steroid Injections: In some cases, your healthcare provider may recommend injecting a corticosteroid medication into the affected area to reduce inflammation and shrink the nodules. This can help alleviate discomfort and improve the appearance of the bumps.4. Hyaluronidase: Hyaluronidase is an enzyme that can break down hyaluronic acid fillers. While Sculptra is not hyaluronic acid-based, hyaluronidase has been used off-label to help dissolve nodules or lumps associated with Sculptra injections. This treatment should be performed by a skilled healthcare provider.5. Laser Therapy: Certain types of laser treatments, such as Nd:YAG or pulsed dye lasers, can help improve the appearance of nodules or lumps by promoting collagen remodeling and reducing inflammation. Laser therapy should be performed by a skilled healthcare provider experienced in treating filler complications.6. Observation: In many cases, small bumps or nodules associated with Sculptra injections will resolve on their own over time without intervention. Your healthcare provider may recommend a wait-and-see approach, especially if the bumps are small and not causing significant discomfort.7. Topical Treatments: Some topical treatments, such as retinoids or alpha hydroxy acids, may help promote collagen remodeling and improve the appearance of the skin over time. However, their effectiveness in treating Sculptra bumps may be limited. It's essential to consult with a skilled healthcare provider who has experience in treating filler complications to determine the most appropriate course of action for your specific situation. They can assess the severity of the nodules, discuss treatment options with you, and develop a treatment plan to address your concerns.
It's essential to follow the post-procedure instructions provided by your healthcare provider after receiving Restylane Silk injections to ensure proper healing and optimal results. Typically, healthcare providers provide specific guidelines tailored to each patient's individual needs and the type of procedure performed. In general, after receiving facial injections, it's usually recommended to avoid touching or manipulating the treated area for a certain period, usually within the first 24-48 hours. However, gentle cleansing with a mild, non-abrasive cleanser is usually permitted, but it's crucial to avoid excessive rubbing or pressure on the treated area to prevent irritation or displacement of the filler.Using cold water can help soothe the skin and reduce swelling after injections, but again, it's important to be gentle. Follow any specific post-procedure instructions given by your healthcare provider to ensure you're caring for your skin appropriately after the Restylane Silk injection. If you're unsure or have any concerns about washing your face after the injection, it's best to reach out to your healthcare provider for clarification and guidance. They can provide recommendations based on your specific situation and the details of your procedure.
