I am 31 years old and wondering if I would see results if I received Restylane fillers (or some other alternative) for my nasolabial folds. The lines aren’t too prominent, so I‘m wondering if I‘m a good candidate for fillers and would see noticeable results if I received treatment.
Answer: Treatment for nasolabial folds Thank you for sharing your question and posting your photograph. You are a good candidate for Fillers in the nasolabial fold area. Make sure to see an expert injector for your treatment. Please make an appointment with an experienced facial specialist for proper guidance and treatment. Good luck.

Answer: Results from filler in nasolabial folds Hello, and thank you for your question. If nasolabial folds (NLF) are not too prominent, I usually opt out of treating them if it not truly needed. NLFs occur due volume loss (bone, muscle, fat). With filler, it is usually recommend to work lateral to medial as lateral structure can help address medial structure/volume loss/provide support. I would recommend scheduling a consult with a provider who specializes in filler to discuss your candidacy details.

Answer: Laugh Lines / Nasolabial Folds - Fillers + Sculptra, Lasers like Fraxel/Clear + Brilliant, Radiofrequency, Peels, Skin Care I recommend fillers to soften the nasolabial folds themselves and also lift around the mouth and cheeks to build underlying anatomical support. In our practice we combine Sculptra with other fillers "layered" on top and lasers, skin tightening treatments such as Thermage, Fractora, and Renuvion (J Plasma), thread lifting, and peels to get the most conservative, natural look. I suggest seeing a facial sculpting expert for a formal consultation. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: A Malleable, Cohesive, Low Viscosity HA Filler Can Work Well For Parallel Laugh Lines Frankly, at least from the photos, the nasolabial lines, while present, are not particularly prominent. More obvious in are the parallel laugh lines lower down that ring the sides of the mouth (particularly on your left side). For these, I have found that the use of a low viscosity, cohesive, malleable HA filler injected in a fanning technique to be particularly effective for reducing these. Very likely if these were treated, the smile lines above would become much less of an issue and would very unlikely require any treatment at this time. You would be wise to consult with an experienced board certified cosmetic dermatologist filler injector and best of luck.

Answer: Filler injections in the nasolabial folds Yes, you are a good candidate and should see noticeable results, in good hands. Of course, an “in person” consultation is necessary. I hope this helps, best of luck !
