Elite says this is a very gentle form of lipo and is ideal for fat transfer. Other things I read say it will melt and kill the fat cells and the fat transfer will be unsuccessful. I'm tall and thin so I don't have much fat to transfer to begin with and I only want to do this once....should I go for traditional lipo instead?
Answer: Pay Attention to the Surgeon, not the Machine Hello, You are correct, Airsculpt wants to play both sides of the coin, melting fat 'more gently' but still capable of harvesting fat suitable for grafting; I'm sorry but you can't have both. Elite is run by a non-certified doc who makes wild claims. Go visit a few ABPS certified/ASAPS member surgeons with decades of experience in liposuction. There is no need to use a special or high tech machine (e.g. Vaser, Laser, radio frequency, AirSculpt) when all you need is skill, talent, and experience. Best of luck!

Answer: Fat Transfer for Breast Augmentation I believe standard tumescent liposuction would be best to preserve viability of the fat to be transferred to the breast.

Answer: Airsculpt marketing It would kill fat cells indeed. It is not gentle as it is marketing goal with a name. I would shy away from that and consider Gold Standard tumescent lipo only with no laser or Vaser in a approved surgical facility. Choose a surgeon that is board certified with at least 10 years of performing fat transfer and lipo.

Answer: Airsculpt for fat transfer Sources saying that this process is inappropriate for fat transfer are ill informed. There is a belief that laser assisted Liposuction can damage fat used for a fat transfer. typically when laser assistance is used the laser treatment is done after the fat has been harvested. and that way it does not potentially damage the fat used for fat transfer. Airsculpt used exclusively by Elite body sculpture is an excellent procedure that offers multiple advantages over traditional Liposuction. Their surgeons are some of the most experienced and talented in the country. I highly recommend you schedule a consultation to get a good assessment and learn more about the procedure. In the end there are two primary variables that are important. They are the patients individual candidacy combined with the skill and experience of the surgeon. Airsculpt is a fairly ideal way of doing the procedure because it avoids general anesthesia, has a fast recovery and gives predictable results. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD

Answer: I'm scheduled to have AirSculpt lipo with a fat transfer to my breasts. Does this type of lipo have good FT results? I'm unacquainted with AirSculpt lipo (never heard of it) but would recommend the use of tumescent liposuction performed by an experienced ABPS Bd Certified plastic surgeon. I have had nice results in harvesting fat using the Revolve Device for washing and filtration though other techniques are good as well.Find a board certified plastic surgeon whom you trust with a good reputation and much experience for your procedure.Best wishes,Jon A Perlman MD FACS Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, ASAPS, ASPS Extreme Makeover Surgeon, ABC TV Best of Los Angeles Award 2015, 2016 Beverly Hills, Ca
