Here is an advice for you. The technique for fat transfer and lipo is most important. The instruments such as laser, Vaser, etc are gimmicks in this procedure as they melt and decrease chances of viable fat cells for transfer. Also to consumer it may increase the price of procedure with no benefits. Most important is to sift through the fluff and fancy decor and furniture and stick with experience of the surgeon where I recommend to be at least 10 to 15 years of routine lipo and fat transfer procedures. Knowing that you are getting the best and reasonable price at expert hands is key here....rest is fluff. So the key is experience of at least 10 years, honest doctor, excellent result, avoid gimmicks that sound different that somehow makes doctor different than others (it doesn't). Results are best and safest with tumescent lipo with sedation local with a surgeon that realizes what aesthetic beauty, body and perfection is who is literally a perfectionist in the field.
Anythnig you have not heard of is a gimic. VASER HI DEF liposuction by a 4D trained physician can give the best outcomes. I suggest you see an expert. Best, Dr. Emer.
Thank you for your question. Air sculpt lipo is laser liposuction. Any fat area treated by the laser will liquefy the fat due to the destruction of the fat cells by the extreme heat the laser produces. I checked the website which highly promotes this technique for fat grafting, and unfortunately the results are not very noticeable or desirable. This could be a combination of injecting dead fat and poor body contouring techniques by the practitioners. To define something, you must understand first what you want to define. Understanding the muscle and bone anatomy in static and dynamic motion is key. I agree with some of the other surgeons, that the surgeon you choose is the most important factor and not the machine or tool. On the other hand, I personally prefer the VASER liposuction technique in my practice. I find that close to 20% of patients who had liposuction someplace else, come to me since they ended up with less than desirable or promised results. In these secondary cases, where there is significant internal scarring it would be impossible to achieve any sculpting without the VASER (this is safe for fat grafting as well, which is always required in these secondary corrective cases). The tools matter, but most important is to have a plastic surgeon who can use it appropriately. See a board certified plastic surgeon with experience in advanced body sculpting techniques for an in person consultation/evaluation. Good luck.
I would look at before and after pictures and reviews to select your board certified plastic surgeon rather than select your surgeon based upon the name of the liposuction machine used.Kenneth Hughes, MDBeverly Hills, CA
Hello dear, thanks for your question and providedinformation as well.. This is the surgicalprocedure that revolutionized cosmetic surgery becoming one of the mostperformed cosmetic procedures. Subcutaneous tissue or fat is removed in orderto contour the body in a way that is harmonious and pleasing to the senses. Itcan be performed in almost all regions of the body such as the neck, chin, abdomen, back, buttocks, thighs, arms and ankles. Usually done through a smallincision in the skin through which a cannula connected to a vacuum is applied,it can be performed alone or in combination with other procedures. Afterliposuction your body is going to be really swollen for at least 2 to 4 monthsafter your surgery. It is important for you to wear your compression garmentfor at least 6 months, the first 3 months 24/7 and then the last 3 months atleast 12 hours per day for your body get use to not having the faja for so manytime. When you remove it, your body can get swollen and also you can have pain.Remember to also compress your body to prevent a seroma which is anaccumulation of liquid that has to be drained, it is hard to touch and alsoreally painful. Bruises are completely normal for almost 3 months from surgery, that’s why is better for you to use a bruising cream and apply it all over yourbody 3 times a day. To prevent bad circulation and swollen legs, usecompression socks. Brazilian butt lift can be performed with the same procedureand for a month it will be swollen and it will drop a little bit without losingit’s shape if you use your garment.. If you’re going to perform liposuction onyour inner, outer, anterior, lateral, postetior thighs, be careful and consultwith your surgeon what’s best for you, sometimes we have more extra skin thanfat, that can cause severe sagginess on our legs, which can be only be reversedperforming a thigh lift.
Many studies have been done and show that the manufacturer and type of liposuction equipment does not make the difference in the results of liposuction. It is finding an experienced Board Certified Plastic Surgeon that makes the difference. There are various techniques and liposuction machines on the market, however, to be effective they must be able to remove the fat. And it must be done properly, with the right amount and deepth removed and the right trained Board Certified Surgeon is the one that makes the difference. Unfortunately for these device manufacturers, the surgeon's experience is much more important in the level of results the patient will have than in the device itself. There is more and more marketing and different names used to draw patients in with promises. The most successful liposuction equipment on the market is a good honest experienced Board Certified Plastic Surgeon . Forget the device, and focus on finding the right surgeon to take good care of you. Most important is to pick a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon - Certifiedby the American Board of Plastic Surgery. It can be hard and confusing forconsumers when a physician may tell you they are Board Certified. Make sure itis Board Certified in Plastic Surgery as many Physicians are certified butit is in another area such as Dermatology, Gynecology, ENT, or some otherspecialty that does not have the years of training and Certification in PlasticSurgery required to be a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon.Rather than finding a non-certified surgeon that may give you better pricing itcan be helpful to find a newer Board Certified Plastic Surgeon that has yearsof experience in training and surgery-required to become Board Certified inPlastic Surgery but is newer in practice. They have the latest up todate training and highest standards as currently set by the newesttechnology and are able to pass on to the consumer much better pricing.Check for special pricing here onRealSelf and make sure the surgeon is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon and youmay find the perfect Plastic Surgeon for you who is able to work with yourbudget without cutting corners!Discuss your needs, wishes, recovery time constraints, and budget limits with an honest and experienced surgeon, and receive bias-free personal advice.
