What is the difference between liposuction and air sculpt? I keep seeing the topic but can't find much. Any costs difference? Any benefits from one or the other?
Answer: Liposuction Common questions. "Marketing" is more effective than the liposuction machine sometimes. in my opinion if the device is promoted more than the doctor then get another opinion. Great results come from the surgeon not the device.

Answer: What is the difference between liposuction and air sculpt? It is so funny that you ask this question because I also had this same questions a few weeks ago. I looked into it to become educated myself. "Air sculpt" is a term that one specific surgeon (he is a general surgeon and not a plastic surgeon) came up with. It is essentially very similar to smarltipo or other forms of laser liposuction. Where a small opening is made and a laser is inserted to melt the fat and then is removed through that same tiny opening. They do market that they do not "cut" the skin (so no scalpels are used), but they have created their own device to "cut" the skin. My opinion is that they are offering something that most plastic surgeons offer but just marketing it in a slightly different way. Do your homework...find a board certified PS that has a lot of experience. Ask to see before and after photos.
