Hi. I am wondering if a strapless recovery bra would be okay to wear right after a breast augmentation? I have submitted a link below. I was looking for a strapless bra so I can have the support I need and still wear clothes that would not allow for straps.
Answer: Is a strapless, wireless, post-surgical support bra okay to wear after a Breast augmentation? You should definitely check with your plastic surgeon but my first thought is that a strapless bra offers very little support and the top band could press into the upper pole of the breasts which is undesirable so soon after surgery. Most patients are in the bra recommended by their surgeon for a minimum of 2 weeks then transition to another wireless bra that is more fashionable.

Answer: Is a strapless, wireless, post-surgical support bra okay to wear after a Breast augmentation? It depends how far from surgery you are and how large you have become. There is less vertical support with a strapless bra so when you walk or go down the stairs, the breasts are bounced up and down. If you are just a few days out, it is not recommended but if you are a month away, no problem.

Answer: Breast augmentation bra I would not recommend wearing a strapless bra post op for a few weeks for general use. However, if you are talking about using it once in a while for a few hours to wear a garment for an event, then I would probably say OK. Discuss with your surgeon. Good luck.

Answer: Is a strapless, wireless, post-surgical support bra okay to wear after a Breast augmentation? Thank you for your question. I prefer the complete support afforded by a normal postsurgical bra that provides shoulder support to the implant and breast at least during the first few days after breast augmentation. Of course the most important thing is that she discussed this with your plastic surgeon and follow his or her advice.
