I can't the only one a little worried that my tummy tuck will bring my 'down there' hair up too far, am I? Plus I'm sure I'll need to halt my waxing routine while scars heals and etc. Laser hair removal before or after lipo+tummy tuck? Does it mess up skin healing or elasticity if I do it before? Does it mess up scarring or other items if done after? What is the preferred order?

Answer: Tummy tuck I know exactly what concerns you. The hairline can get pulled up if the incision isn’t made low enough. The lower incision of the tummy tuck can be made low enough so that a significant amount of hair bearing skin is removed during surgery. This also limits how much the scar migrates upwards. So I would do the tummy tuck first. With this technique you probably won’t need laser hair removal at all

Answer: Laser hair removal Dear FactoryReset, you can get laser hair removal prior or after the surgery. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.
