Wanting to replace 450 implants to 550 not to sure if it'll be to big I like mine now but really wanted them bigger. Even when I woke up after surgery I looked down and thought they were not my ideal size.
Answer: Should I go with larger implants? Thank you for your question and photos. In medicine there is an old saying that the enemy of good is better. Sometimes we want something better, but fail to realize how great we currently have it. If better occurs and we are happy no big deal. Many times better does not occur and we have serious regrets. You have a great result, just saying. Good luck.

Answer: Replacing implants for a larger size In your clothing and swim suit, you look fantastic and certainly very full. You have a small frame. In my opinion, larger implants can frequently make a small framed patient look top heavy and almost as if they have gained weight. As the implant gets larger in volume, it will appear wider even with a high profile implant. A 100cc volume increase will be noticeable but will not be an extreme difference (perhaps just half a cup or so in classic bra sizing). Also, keep in mind that you are young and will want your skin and breast tissue to age gracefully with the augmentation. There are likely to be some long term repercussions of very heavy implants weighing on your skin and tissue. And, finally, please keep in mind that there are also potential complications with any revision surgery. There are the costs of the implant and surgery. But, there are also small risks of infection/fluid collections/asymmetry/capsular contracture, etc any time you reoperate on the breasts. There are also no guarantees that a 550cc or a 600cc (or larger) implant will completely satisfy you. When patients have a nice outcome with no complications and are fairly happy with size and shape, I really try to dissuade them from jumping into further surgery.

Answer: 450--550? It is not that big of a difference, but if you want to go bigger you certainly can. You might also look at the extra high profile. I don't know if you have preop Vectra photos, but that is helpful as you can still simulate the other sizes. Good Luck!

Answer: I have 450cc implants. I'm wanting to go to 550cc. Should I? Thank you for the question. Keep in mind as you are thinking about your goals that sometimes adjustment of the breast implant pockets (capsule adjustments) may be necessary to achieve the outcome you are looking for. Also keep in mind that there is no accurate/reliable/predictable correlation between size/profile breast implant utilized and cup size achieved. Generally speaking, the best online advice I can give to ladies who are considering revisionary breast augmentation surgery is: 1. Concentrate on choosing your plastic surgeon carefully. Concentrate on appropriate training, certification, and the ability of the plastic surgeon to achieve the results you are looking for. Ask to see lots of examples of his/her work. 2. Have a full discussion and communication regarding your desired goals with your plastic surgeon. This communication will be critical in determining breast implant size/type/profile will most likely help achieve your goals. In my practice, the use of photographs of “goal” pictures (and breasts that are too big or too small) is very helpful. I have found that the use of words such as “natural” or "up a cup size” or "DD cup" etc means different things to different people and therefore prove unhelpful. Also, as you know, cup size varies depending on who makes the bra; therefore, discussing desired cup size may also be inaccurate. 3. Once you feel you have communicated your goals clearly, allow your chosen plastic surgeon to work with you in determining the best plan to achieve your goals. I hope this, and the attached link (dedicated to revisionary breast augmentation surgery concerns), helps. Best wishes.

Answer: Breast Augmentation in Melbourne, Florida Ultimately, only you can decide what implant size you are comfortable with. From the photos you appear to have a very nice result from your original surgery. It may not be worth going through another surgery and the expense to increase to a size which is disproportionate to your frame and may end up looking too large. I would recommend discussing this with your board-certified plastic surgeon before making your decision. Best of luck to you!
