I had an uplift and implants under the muscle 350cc & 400cc almost a year ago. The asymmetry of my nipples aren't of a concern as you can see before they have always been different and I knew they wouldnt be the exact same after surgery . They are a huge improvement but I feel like Im still left with no upper pole fullness I still have a gap between my bra and my tops as I did pre surgery. What could be done to correct this? Would bigger implants work?
Hi, I had a BA in 2019 Dual Plane 300cc High Profile Round Silicone. I have never been overly happy with the outcome as did not drop and fluff as I was hoping for, leaving more fullness above the nipple than below and creating what I believe is a snoopy droop appearance with my nipples lower and saggy under pole. I did go back to surgeon within three years who said he was very happy with the results. However I do not feel they look natural. I wore a breast band above the nipple and was in a lot of pain for many months. I am a 34C, 55 and weigh 58kg Age 49 What do you suggest can improve the appearance whilst trying to avoid a lift please? Would bigger implants moderate profile create a more natural look with more lower pole fullness? Or would going over the muscle be better? I really appreciate any advice you can give. Thank you for your time
Hey! Looking for some advice and potentially seeking a surgeon who could help me. I had a breast lift with implants over 2 years ago and Ive been left with very unsightly scars which are a purple, uneven nipple sized and placed lower then I originally asked for. I have implants in and Im very happy with the size and shape. My problem is the scaring and nipples. Any advice on whats best to fix this? Thanks in advance
29 year old woman, 120 lbs, 54, implants are 8 months old, motiva ergo 215cc over the muscle - my doctor insisted i had enough breast tissue for OTM without fat transfer to cover aesthetic line. Im wondering if this implant is too small ? is my tissue just not supporting them? or should have i gone with a different approach than what my doc recommended? thanks!
Hi doctors, I am 7 months out from a breast implant exchange and anchor lift. My previous implant was slightly larger, but I developed significant sagging after pregnancy. For this surgery, I received 775cc implants placed in the dual-plane pocket, which was reused from before, and Galaflex mesh was added for internal support. Despite the lift and mesh, I still do not have natural cleavage when standing, and the implants feel low and wide on my chest. When I lie down, the implants tend to fall outward toward my armpits, leaving a noticeable gap in the center. While my nipple position appears lifted, the overall breast mound seems to sit too low. I expressed my concerns to my surgeon, but he reassured me that everything looked fine. However, I still feel like the positioning is off. Could this be due to lateral displacement or because the original pocket wasnt adequately revised? Is it possible the Galaflex is reinforcing a pocket that is too low or wide? Would pocket reconstruction typically be necessary in a case like this to improve implant position and cleavage? I would appreciate any professional insights or advice on what might have happened and what kind of revision could help. Thank you very much.
I had a breast augmentation and lift 11 years ago. Wondering if it's time for a revision. I have more fullness at the top than I used to. Also my left breast has a sort of dent that's gotten worse over the years on the bottom side. Is this just a cosmetic issue? How do you know when it's time for a revision? I would probably go a bit smaller next time to slow down the gravity effect in the future. Is this something I should have looked at? I am 57.
Im a 20 yo female 97 lbs 51. I had a breast augmentation almost exactly a year ago. I love my surgeon I thought she did a great job. I wanted a very natural modest small breast augmentation. We went with 200 cc silicone smooth round implants under the muscle. The first doctor I saw warned me to size up to 225 to prevent bottoming out due to the implant not taking up enough room in the chest pocket and sliding out, and me having loose breast tissue, and my nipples already sitting high. I noticed the bottoming out somewhere from 4-6 months post op. I love my boobs even now. I dont want them to look fake or overly perky, which Im scared will happen if I get a revision. I also dont want to size down, or anything above 225. Im not sure what to do. I know there are different methods like ADM, internal bra, and capsulorrhaphy, or could I do a simple repositioning. I also dont feel the need to replace the implants at all, if anything Id like to keep them with a revision. Is that a possibility? I dont want to lose the natural look and soft plumpness that she achieved barring the obvious bottoming out. The lack of cleavage is not a concern, my chest is just wide for my frame so I prefer it. My only concern is the asymmetry and downward sink. If I dont fix it will it get worse? What revision method would you recommend?
I had a BBA 6 months ago. I have 425cc on my left side and 375cc on my right, under the muscle, high profile silicone. My right side has a visible outline of the implant, and I feel it moving around much more than the other side. My surgeon says that seeing the implant is normal and may resolve with time and insists it isnt a double bubble, but it looks and feels very different than the other side. I also included my before photos.
I have two different surgeons I am torn between to replace my current 16-year-old Allergan Style 45 HP 700cc silicone implants. They are too big for my frame, and I am downsizing because one of them is protruding across the middle section/border. Both surgeons pretty much want to use the same technique using Strattice to repair the borders as well as support the new implants. I am downsizing to 585 CC Mentor BOOST silicone implants. My dilemma is: One surgeon swears by the use of drains when using Strattice to remove any possibility of fluid buildup as a result of using the Strattice. He said he's used Strattice enough to know better than to NOT use drains. He also uses some type of clear tape/plastic all over instead of a surgical bra post surgery. I thought this was odd. The other doctor says drains are probably not going to be needed for my surgery with the Strattice. I'm not sure if one Dr. is just more skilled at using Strattice than the other and knows what he's doing by using the drains. He said he's used Strattice enough to know that you never want fluid buildup when using it. I really like both surgeons, and I'm torn because they have differing opinions on using this material for my repair.
I have had these implants for about 9 years and I have gained about 40lbs. I dont like how my boobs are mostly full on the sides. Is it bc of the implant or is it bc I have a lot of fat under my arm pit? Would going to a smaller implant help? I currently have 650cc and I and 150lbs 53
