Laser Genesis works on your skin's surface. It does not penetrate deep enough to affect your sinuses. Hope this helps.
Laser Genesis can only have an effect on your skin within 1-2 millimeters, not deep enough to affect your sinuses. It is generally very safe and my patients and nurses love it equally as much. Best of luck. Daniel Golshani, M.D., Beverly Hills.
Laser Genesis is a 1064 nm wavelength ND-YAG laser that is turned down low and treatment gives multiple pulses. It is designed to build collagen to shrink pores and efface scarring over time with several treatment sessions. Your sinuses are very deep beneath your facial bones. Laser Genesis is a very superficial laser treatment only. It only goes into the upper skin layers and targets primarily red pigments and tiny veins/vessels. It has no ability to go to the sinus depth or affect your sinuses in any way. "This answer has been solicited without seeing this patient and cannot be held as true medical advice, but only opinion.
