I got restalyne injected into the bridge of my nose as well as my tip as well as around it. I have an open rhinoplasty scheduled for February 3rd. My doctor said he doesn't want to dissolve it a month prior because it is an active agent and he doesn't feel it would be the best thing. He said he can remove the filler while my nose is open. My main concern is will not dissolving it prior alter my result?

Answer: Rhinoplasty Depends on how much filler or you could possibly dissolve it. I would advise you to schedule a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon for a detailed examination to discuss all possible treatment options and what your expectations are.

Answer: Does Nasal Filler Interfere With Rhinoplasty This depends on how much filler was injected into your nose, and where it was injected. Did your surgeon inject it? If so, he knows the effect it would have and is best informed to make the judgement. If you are unsure, my best advice is to have a conversation with your surgeon. If you feel a lack of trust in his judgement before surgery, it is paramount that you speak with him – after all, this is the person who will be operating on you. I do not feel comfortable weighing in on something that your surgeon himself likely knows the most about.
