Can the bottom of my nose be lowered a few millimeters? (Photos)

You cannot always judge your facial features against what some refer to as the ideal. When I look at your nose I don’t see it as too short. But if you wanted to lengthen it a little bit it would be much tougher than you think and the result could look weird. Your nose looks okay to me.

Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your photographs, you may benefit from nasal tip derotation and a septal extension graft.  This can derotate your nasal tip.  Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and not just a computer animation system.  You should be able to view numerous pictures of actual patients with noses similar to yours performed by your surgeon.  If you cannot find enough real before and after pictures, then consider continuing your search for a surgeon. Hi and welcome to our forum!I am not quite sure of nature of your concern. The nose appears midline. The base of the bridge is somewhat broadened. The tip appears to demonstrate adequate definition. There appears to be a lack of projection of the columellar margin inferiorly. You demonstrate a strong chin.A columellar cartilage graft will slightly lower it to the line on the photo.The bridge can be narrowed with rhinoplasty if desired. The chin can be de-projected if desired with osteotomy. Seek in-person advice from a board certified plastic surgeon.Best wishes...
