What are my options to change the shape of my breasts but not change the size? (Photo)

Hello! Thank you for your question- I receive a lot of similar questions in my office. Based on your photos and stated desire to be perkier, rounder, but similar size, I would most like recommend a mastopexy with a small implant to give you more roundness of your breasts. By removing a small amount of breast tissue and adding a small implant, you can achieve a similar size breast with an improved shape. Take a look at the before and after photo linked below to see a good example. 

To achieve a more youthful appearance to your breasts would require a breast lift. You would lose a small amount of volume with this procedure. If your preference is to maintain or increase your volume a small implant could be added at that time.

A breast lift would reshape your breasts to make them perkier and more rounded. Only a small amount of tissue is removed so that your actual size would remain about the same. No implants would be needed.

It is difficult to assess through photos alone. A breast augmentations takes what you have and makes it bigger. It may be best to have an in person consultation to discuss your options for options, sizing and/or a lift.

If your primary goal is to achieve a rounder, perkier shape while reducing the sagging you’re currently experiencing, a breast lift is your best option. This procedure will reshape the breast mound and restore a more youthful appearance. In some instances, this may result in a slight reduction in size that won’t significantly impact your overall breast appearance.

Thank you for sharing your question and photographs.  Your best option would be to perform a breast lift.  As this often results in the feeling of a smaller breast you could also have some fat grafting done to avoid an implant.  Hope this helps.

Because you like the size of your breasts, a breast lift can be performed by itself. 
Although only skin is typically removed in a breast lift procedure that is a few grams, the breasts will appear smaller. This is due to the fact that the same mass is wrapped in a smaller soft tissue envelope and increases the density. The less dense the breast and the more the surface area of skin that is removed, the larger the apparent reduction in size. You could add an implant to improve the fullness of the breasts at the top.
