I had breast implants under muscle (insicion in crease) removed after only 1 month. Capsule removal not required. About 6 months later right incision has pulled upward into breast, causing an inch of unevenness in crease lines symmetry. I was told massage would help loosen scar tissues, it hasn't. Can scar removal procedure help loosen thethered scar tissues attached to muscle? Also how to fix muscle distortion/movement? Not interested in fat grafting. Costs associated with such procedure?

Answer: Scar tissue after explant Great question! Without an examination or photos, its hard to understand what exactly is going on. It could be as simple as a scar revision. However, you did say you have muscle distortion and movement, which can happen sometimes if the muscle is not sewn back down and capsule not removed. Therefore, it is important to have an in person consultation so that a proper examination can be perfumed and the correct revision procedure described to you. Seek a board certified plastic surgeon and go with the one you feel most comfortable with.Best of luck and hope this information helps!- Dr. Roger Tsai @DrRogerTsaiBoard Certified Plastic Surgeon

Answer: Scar Dear Reliable2292, it is hard to tell for sure without an examination or at least some photos. Based on your description, it sounds like you would benefit from a scar revision surgery. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.
