Is CoolSculpting safe during your period?

I have an appointment tomorrow and I my period started today. Usually, first two days are very heavy. I am wondering if it is safe for me to have a treatment tomorrow? I am 46.

There would be no harm in having a CoolSculpting procedure done during your period.  It would be your choice if you wanted to have the treatment now or wait until your period is over.

There are no safety or health concerns associated with having CoolSculpting® treatments when you are on your period. CoolSculpting® is non-invasive and requires no downtime afterward. Depending on how many areas you have treated at once, your CoolSculpting® session could last anywhere from one hour to five hours. the temperature of a treated area sufficiently to send fat cells into
apoptosis (a slow-death cycle). The temperature is not low enough to
adversely affect your skin – other than some slight redness or
tingling – and cannot affect your organs, including your
reproductive system. Therefore your menstrual flow would not be
affected. However, if you tend to have cramps or bloating during your
period and you are having CoolSculpting of your abdomen, it could be
a bit more uncomfortable and you may wish to wait a few days.  Please

perform your CoolSculpting for the best results and be sure to
