Vaginal Rejuvenation
I offer a number of vaginal rejuvenation procedures at my practice in Denver, Colorado. Vaginoplasty, a one-hour outpatient procedure that tightens the muscles and tissues of the vagina, is especially popular with women who have experienced the physical stress of vaginal childbirth. It can boost confidence, improve sexual satisfaction, and even help with incontinence. Sometimes, women will also opt to have a perineoplasty, as it repairs the area between the vagina and anus, which can be damaged during childbirth as well. One of the most common female genital cosmetic surgeries that I perform is labiaplasty (often combined with clitorial hood reduction), which alters the size or shape of the labia minora (inner lips) or labia majora (outer lips) to improve comfort and confidence. During the procedure, I use the Ellman Surgitron radiofrequency device to carefully reduce excess labial skin with precision and minimal trauma.

Dr. Oscar A. Aguirre has been a board-certified urogynecologist in Denver, Colorado for over 22 years. The founder and medical director of Aguirre Specialty Care (ASC), he is a leading expert in cosmetic gynecology and specializes in vaginal rejuvenation procedures such as vaginoplasty, labiaplasty, and perineoplasty. A preeminent pelvic surgeon, Dr. Aguirre is known for his success in treating urinary incontinence.
Dr. Aguirre was also an early adopter of nonsurgical vaginal rejuvenation treatments, including radiofrequency (ThermiVa), CO2 laser (FemiLift), and Nd/YAG lasers (IntimaLase). In 2006, he studied with gynecologist Dr. David Matlock of Beverly Hills, the developer of Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation (LVR) and Laser Reduction Labiaplasty.
After receiving his bachelor’s degree in molecular, cellular, and developmental biology from the University of Colorado, Dr. Aguirre remained in Boulder at the university’s Health Sciences Center for medical school. Upon graduation, he completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City.
Dr. Aguirre returned to Colorado to complete a fellowship in urogynecology and reconstructive pelvic surgery under the training of Dr. G. Willy Davila at the Colorado Gynecology and Continence Center in Denver, Colorado's first urogynecology practice and fellowship training center. At the end of his training, Dr. Aguirre took over as the practice’s medical director.
Over the years, Dr. Aguirre has added a variety of cosmetic gynecological procedures at the request of his patients, including the latest in vaginal surgery and body contouring, transforming the practice into the full-service center for women’s wellness that it is today.
