Hello and thank you for your question. I recommend getting the forehead reduction first because the rhinoplasty requires much more delicate work and you wouldn't want your nose results to get messed up if you did the forehead reduction after. Rhinoplasty truly a surgery of millimeters- and it requires exceptional surgical skill to achieve natural-looking results! Because your nose is the DEFINING feature of your face- I would only recommend seeing a surgeon who specializes in rhinoplasty procedures, and who has significant training and experience performing these surgeries. I actually trained under one of the world leading rhinoplasty experts (who performs 1,000+ nosejobs annually). If you're open to it, I recommend for you to setup a formal consultation with me (or another plastic surgeon who is extremely comfortable with rhinoplasties) to thoroughly discuss your surgical goals, undergo a formal examination, evaluate your options, and develop a personalized plan just for you. I actually also happen to specialize in forehead reduction procedures. I hope this helps!Dr. Donald GrovesAesthetic Plastic Surgeon
Hello, You will get swelling with a forehead reduction on your nose so my recommendation is to space them out a month or so between surgeries. If given a choice, I would do the nose first and then the forehead reduction which would not require that much spacing in between surgeries.
I don't think there is a benefit of performing one surgery before the other. You should probably proceed with whichever issue is bothering you the most first. I hope this helps. Sincerely, Dr. Joseph
Dear Bunn1e, thanks for sharing your concerns about this you are the one who need to priorize. My recomendation will be to perform this procedures toguether, look carefully for a surgeon and get them together you will be more benefit like this. Make sure you go on consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon. Hope this helps and best of lucks. Dr. Luis Mejia.
Thank you for your question. I think it is silly for you to get those 2 surgeries performed at different times by different surgeons when they can be performed in one setting. I would really rethink your options or your surgeon. My best advice to is find the surgeon that you trust to perform the rhinoplasty as that same surgeon can definitely perform your forehead reduction. Best wishes to you.
Typically we do these procedures together. However, if you must do them separately, I would suggest the forehead first.
In general I think the rhinoplasty is a more worthwhile procedure so would do that first. But truly it doesn’t matter the order
Hello and thank you for your question. I would recommend having rhinoplasty done first and then you can see what your facial balance needs would be after. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified rhinoplasty surgeon who can evaluate you in person.Best wishes and good luck.Richard G. It doesn't matter which procedure comes first, but for recovery purposes, and anesthesia purposes, it would be best to do both simultaneously. Rhinoplasty is the most difficult procedure to perform correctly in the entire field of cosmetic surgery, so choose your rhinoplasty specialist very wisely based on extensive experience producing natural results.
I don’t think it makes that much difference which procedure you do first. If you have providers selected, then I suggest you ask them what their thoughts are.Best,Mats Hagstrom MD
Hello, It is not likely that it going to affect your nose because the lining in your nose is separate.
Hello! Thank you for your question. As far as I can see from your photos unfortunately, 100% symmetry is not possible, your nose can be brought to the midline, but again, the wing inequality may remain, albeit minimal, this is a condition related to facial asymmetry, but it is still possible to...
Hello! Thank you for your question. As far as I can see from your photos It may take 1.5 years for the nose to take its full shape, which will depend on the skin structure, but I recommend you to have a revision operation for your nose, it will be much more appropriate to file your nose bridge a...
