I had dreamed of having a certain nose since I was 12 years old, and after being told by another surgeon that my dream nose wasn’t possible, I was devastated—until I found Dr. Smith. From the very first consultation, he listened with care, was honest about what could realistically be achieved, and gave me hope without overpromising. Not only did he understand my vision, but he also delivered results that exceeded my expectations.

Even though I had to travel a long way from Montreal for every check-up and appointment, it was 100% worth it. The level of care, precision, and attention I received made every trip feel like an investment in myself—and it paid off.

Surprisingly, the recovery wasn’t painful at all. I had prepared myself for discomfort, but it was so much smoother than I expected. Dr. Smith and his team made sure I was comfortable every step of the way, and I always felt well taken care of.

I did end up needing a revision, but not due to any mistake on Dr. Smith’s part—my body simply responded unpredictably, and my very, very thick skin made things more challenging. Still, he approached it with so much care and commitment to making sure I got the best outcome possible.

I don’t regret doing my nose with Dr. Smith for a second. I truly believe no one else could have given me the nose I always dreamed of. I’m beyond happy with my results and forever grateful.

I never usually leave reviews for anything, however this doctor changed my life and made me able to breathe again. I was reliant on nasal sprays multiple times a day. Many general practitioners said I was fine and offerred to give me prescription spray after spray. It took him less than a minute to determine I had a deviated septum. Booked an appointment for surgery and 1 week of recovery never needed to use a nasal spray again. That was 7 years ago, Just want to say thank you!

I recently had rhinoplasty with Dr. Oakley Smith, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Dr. Smith is truly a wizard in his field, focusing solely on rhinoplasty, and his expertise is evident. I can’t say enough amazing things about Dr Oakley Smith!! My experience with him was amazing from consultation all the way to the one year follow up! I found him very professional but also super easy to talk to, He made sure my expectations were reasonable and surpassed them all with the final result! I am officially 3 months post-op and I am incredibly happy with the result of my rhinoplasty. I am so grateful I came across Dr. Oakley through a friend- he is a true expert in his craft. Had I written this review just 1 week following my procedure, it would not be as positive. This is not because my nose wasn't perfect, but because I had not mentally adjusted to the change. I didn't expect to feel such discomfort with a change in my appearance, but my initial reaction was one of shock and distress. I felt like I didn't recognize who I saw in the mirror and was filled with regret. I can now say with confidence, this feeling is temporary and will pass. While most patients do not have this initial experience, I want to reassure you that if you do, your feelings are valid but you will ultimately come to love your nose once you give yourself time to adjust. Dr. Oakley's kind and calm disposition helped alleviate my initial anxiety and provide me with support while I underwent this transition. This short-term comfort was absolutely worth it for how I feel now- happy and in love with my nose!

Dr. Oakely Smith is a top notch surgeon. He was very helpful at the first consultation as he discussed what was possible. His follow up care is very good. All the office staff are friendly and professional.Dr Smith did a great job and I am extremely happy with the result.

Was very happy with my experience. Dr Oakley gave me my options… I ended up going in for a rhinoplasty consultation but after hearing my options I decided to go with filler and I’m incredibly happy with the outcome. It’s nice not having to go under surgery, with the risks and downtime. And he did it at the consultation which I appreciated!

I am a week post op and in love with my new nose already. Dr. Smith exceeded my expectations and gave me the nose I've always wanted, but most importantly that suit my face. His education, years of experience and specialization in the field made me extremely confident with my decision. He truly is an artist and has such charm and a calm demeanor. He made me feel very comfortable and assured every time I saw him. I was very nervous about the entire procedure and his team was very friendly and attentive throughout the entire process! I also had my breathing issues fixed with Dr. Smith - and he was confident in his abilities to help me breathe again/not get sinus infections. I would recommend him to anyone looking to get a rhinoplasty. I can't wait to see the improvements each day as the swelling goes down.

Wow! I thought I’d share an update on my recovery. I am finally starting to see my results and couldn’t be happier. Full transparency I had a post op identity crisis and started to freak out. Going in public the first month was tough as I didn’t recognize myself & felt people were looking at me differently. I stopped taking pictures everyday and just trusted the process and had to be patient. I felt initially that I loved my new nose, but it was lifted a lot more and swollen so it’s hard to tell. So much trauma occurs during surgery that your nose is truly distorted for a while. I would say the first month is just not how your nose will permanently look. I am completely in love with it now and feel confident out and about. There is still a lot of swelling that needs to go down, but theirs is a drastic change from 2 weeks to 4 weeks post op. I would do it all over again if I had to! Pain level was a 4/10 as majority of my recovery was just uncomfortable. I didn’t get any tubes in my nose so I couldn’t breathe at all, I was completely congested for a good week. Finally started to sleep on my back again and have been taping everyday for 15 hours/day for 3 months (this is dependent on your surgeon). Next post op apt is April, I will post another update then! Just know that if you have a full identity crisis it is completely normal and it will pass. You don’t realize how swollen your nose actually is.

It marks 1 year since I had my rhinoplasty procedure With Dr. Smith and I cannot begin to describe how happy and pleased I'm with the result. During my consultation with Dr. Smith I knew I can trust his work. I felt that he knew exactly what I wanted to achieve, which is a natural looking nose that can compliment my face. This procedure has been life changing and I am so happy that I went ahead with the procedure. It has increased my self confidence and allowed me to enjoy taking photos without feeling self conscious about my nose. If you are looking into a rhinoplasty procedure, look no further. Dr. Smith is a great and reliable plastic surgeon who will exceed all your expectations and give you outstanding results.

I went into my consultation with Dr Smith with an idea of what I wanted - I wanted the bump removed from my nose and the tip reshaped. He said he could absolutely do that, and suggested that we could make the nose even smaller and also rotate the tip upwards. I didn't even think of these two things (I hadn't done a ton of research into what was possible with a rhinoplasty), so when he suggested these two things and showed me the morph I was absolutely in love. Dr Smith took the time to explain everything to me and answered all my question, and was very realistic and honest with me about my expectations. He didn't promise me a perfect nose, he promised me a better nose. I understand there are certain limitations with cosmetic surgery and I appreciated him being honest with me that my nose will never be perfect but he promised he could improve it which is all I wanted. I felt absolutely confident in choosing him as my surgeon and 4.5 months post-op am still 100% confident in my choice. My new nose has honestly exceeded all of my expectations and I'm in love with the result. It's drastic, but also subtle and still has character to it and most importantly it fits my face. When I look in the mirror I see the person I always believed I was, it truly is the best version of my nose possible and what I always envisioned I wanted to look like. When I say Dr Smith changed my life I wholeheartedly mean that. My confidence has been restored, and I love the way I look now. I no longer have to be self conscious about people looking at me from the side, or posing a certain way in photos - I can live my life without constantly thinking about my nose.

I was extremely nervous going into surgery day, but after meeting with the surgical team and Dr Smith before surgery I felt incredibly calm and at ease. Everyone was so kind and made me feel safe and in the best hands. I could breathe out of my nose immediately after surgery and had VERY little bruising and swelling. I got a call a couple hours out of surgery from someone at the office and they were so kind and made sure I was doing okay and had everything I needed. It was overall an extremely positive experience and I would recommend Dr Smith to anyone who is looking for a rhinoplasty.
