8 months po and my nose is now bigger and the hump is back. What could have caused this and could it be saddle nose? (photos)

Im 8 months post op after having a "lateral osteotomy, medial osteotomy, tip plasty using septal cartilage, hump removal, and SMR". My nose is completely different to what it was at 8 weeks and 4 months post op to what it is now. It has grown back bigger, the hump is back, my tip is uneven (due to swelling? I cant tell) and am i possibly slipping into saddle nose? Why does it look so bad now compared to 8 wks/4 mths? What happened? Talking to the surgery who did it has been unhelpful

Hello! Thank you for your question.
As far as I can see from your photos It may take 1.5 years for the nose to take its full shape, which will depend on the skin structure, but I recommend you to have a revision operation for your nose, it will be much more appropriate to file your nose bridge a little more and lift your nose tip a little more in proportion to your face.
It would be better face to face consultation.

A saddle nose deformity is when a nasal bridge is very low compared to the nasal tip, and it may resemble the saddle of a bicycle. I believe you're seeing a bit of a bump because your tip may have dropped several millimeters. Do you still appear to have a pleasenational appearance. Hope this helps. Sincerely, Dr. Joseph
