The lack of facial harmony I have because of my nose really bothers me. I want to know if there is any procedure to make my nose harmonize with my other features better. I don’t want to make my nose smaller, because I think that would make my eyes look more far apart. I just want a nose that compliments my face better & makes my eyes appear less far a part. I just want to be more confident in my looks. pls help! idk what will give me the results I'm looking for

Answer: Rhinoplasty Hello and thank you for your question. It is difficult to determine based on these photographs alone. Additional side views would be helpful. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified rhinoplasty surgeon who can evaluate you in person. Best wishes and good luck. Richard G. Answer: Rhinoplasty and facial asymmetry All people have facial asymmetry. During embryological development, the two sides of the face develop independently from each other and eventually fuse in the midline. The human brain is accustomed to seeing facial asymmetry as being normal and that’s why we don’t see other people as having facial asymmetry. Sometimes when we look at our own face in a critical way and see facial symmetry, it can seem like it’s not right. Changing your nose will only change your nose And it will not affect other parts of your face. The pictures you’ve included you are very attractive have only mild as symmetry. I would say less than most people and there is no need or indication to do surgery to change the symmetry. Nobody looks at you and sees a symmetry. Everyone who looks at you sees your eyes eyes, your smile, and all of your , attractive desirable features. For a rhinoplasty assessment, we always need profile pictures, but I really don’t see a strong indication to do any plastic surgical procedure in your case. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD. This response was dictated using ward recognition. I apologize for any potential, grammatical errors.
